Sony Extra Bass Headphones Replacement Parts

I purchased the Sony extra bass smartphone headset to use for work purposes and only wanted to spend around $20. I am using these headphones for medical transcription and they are perfect in that respect. They have a good fit and are comfortable to use for several hours at a time. If you're looking for a pair of headphones under $20, I would recommend these.

Best outdoor speakers I have ever had! Deep, full bass and crisp highs. I'm amazed at the sound I can get outdoors with 2 simple speakers. Recently, a party got a bit out of hand. Unfortunately, both speakers were blown up. Totally my fault. Called customer service to find out if it was possible to purchase replacement parts. Without hesitation they shipped me the replacement parts at no cost. Took me 30 minutes to install and I was up and running again with great sound!!!!

Sounds so much better then my Sony headphones. Lots of clarity and a warm bass.

This cable is a replacement for a decent set of headphones with replacement parts. The great staff at B&H recommended these for someone like me who usually beats up gear in the field. When it was time to replace the cable, I was able to buy it on their site quickly and of course I had it in 2 days, NY to Philly.

Simply great headphones. No bass enhancement, no extra tinkle, just accurate dependable headphones. Frequently I wear them for 3-4 hours at a time without fatigue, ear pain or sweating. There is a reason you will see pro studio people wearing these. Accuracy, comfort and consistency.

I have only about 7 hours on these phones, so I would still consider them being in the break-in period. Observations so far: they sound musical. What I mean is that they sound like the music is coming directly from the instruments, not through headphones. If you've ever used a pair of inferior cans, you know exactly what I mean. The sound is natural, and frequency response appears to be quite flat. These headphones do NOT have any extra bass or heavy EQ that ruin the purity of the audio material. The fit is tight but comfortable, and insulation from the ambient environment is very good. These cans are built better than my old Sony MDR-V6, which also sound neutral, natural, and pure. If you like pure music without silly things like extra bass or other sound-ruining gadgets, I would give these cans a try.

These are the standard reference headphones for audiophiles. You get them for exactly that reason. No extra bass, no extra treble, just the music as intended

Works the same as the other I would think but not sure if will take the same replacement parts as the Zeeion model.

I connect these headphones into a Sony Playstation Vita and listen to songs using the Sony Music Unlimited application. This gives me adequate emphasis of bass to help me determine the notes which are sometimes difficult to hear and decipher. When wanting to play along to the music simultaneously using either guitar or bass, I simply plug MDR-7506 through the headphone port on subwoofer/amp combo or DI box. The Playstation Vita is then connected to auxillary port using appropriate auxillary cable. I then have the option of muting the output to the internal speaker depending on whether or not I want my neighbors to hear. MDR-7506 also come with a pouch to carry headphones and cable in. The earpads are soft which make extended listening appropriate. Though, I am fearful these pads may breakdown or tear at a faster rate or higher percentage. This is ok since the earpads themselves can be replaced without buying a complete new product. Another concern is the thin wire connection run independently to the left and right speakers. They could become caught within the sliding adjustment piece that is used to accomodate different head sizes. No worry just something to be aware and cautious of in advance. Overall, the sound is excellent with great clarity and bass. The price was just right for my budget. I wanted to splurge and spend more on this component of my system. However, after testing several other higher priced models, I simply could not justify passing up the quality this unit provided. Legitimacy confirmed!
