This is one of the best headphones I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The refined sound signature is something that really agrees with my listening preference, practically no listening fatigue with them at all. At the same time, it's very involving with a wide and tall soundstage, rich textural mids and vocals and great bass and sub-bass extension, when called for. Perfect for any music genre really. The design and comfort is absolutely top notch as well. Note, if you prefer headphones with very strong highs/treble, these are not for you. The treble is accurate, yet laid back compared to other headphones which seem to need to shoot the treble in to your ears in the guise of being 'high resolution'. Sony really stepped it up in all respects with their Z1R headphones. They're made in an in-house artisan department within Sony as well, not mass produced. Comprehensive but not complete list of all headphones I own and have owned: Sony MDR-Z1R Audioquest Nighthawk Shozy Zero earbuds Bose QC-25 Apple Ear Pods (hate them for music, only use for phone calls/podcasts) PREVIOUSLY OWNED: Focal Utopia (loaner) Focal Elear Sennheiser HD800 S Sony MDR-Z7 Cardas A8 Ear Speakers Audeze LCD-3 Beats Executive Denon AHGC20 AKG Q701 AKG K702 65th Anniversary Edition Audeze LCD-2 Cardas Ear Speakers V-Moda Crossfade M100 Accidentally Extraordinary 51st Studio Audio-Technica ATH-M50 BeyerDynamic DT880 Premium Beats Pro Fostex TH900 Sony MDR-1r Sennheiser HD600 Sennheiser HD800 Sennheiser HD598 Denon D7000 Denon D5000 Ultrasone Pro 900 S Klipsch X10 Earbuds Sony MDR-7506 Sony MDR-V6 Grado SR60 5 |

I purchased the Sony extra bass smartphone headset to use for work purposes and only wanted to spend around $20. I am using these headphones for medical transcription and they are perfect in that respect. They have a good fit and are comfortable to use for several hours at a time. If you're looking for a pair of headphones under $20, I would recommend these. 5 |

Calls are clear, bass is not as strong as in ear headphones. All in all, they’re great for working outside. 5 |

Sounds so much better then my Sony headphones. Lots of clarity and a warm bass. 5 |

The Senal SMH-1000-MK2is lightweight, the cushiony ear pads and headband should fit confortably to everyone. I like the fact that the bottom headband side that touches my head is made of leather / leatherette, which is easy to clean with a mild detergent or 50% (max solution) alchohol with a soft cloth, rather than the headphones that are made of a mesh material which accumulates dirt and body stuff. Additionally, I recommend buying disposable headband and ear pad protectors such as the Auray Disposable Over-Ear Headphone Covers (50 Pairs, Black) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1585973-REG/auray_hpc_45bk_disposable_headphone_cover_4_5.html for the ultimate in hygiene thus keeping that letter finish from deteriorating due to skin oils. Once I tried it, I can't go back. I love having those disposable pads on every single headphone I own! They also make in white. Performance: This headphone is excellent for critical listening for music and audio monitoring for video production. It has sufficient treble and the mid range boost vocals slightly and gently, just the right amount which is desired, thus maintaining the midrange mild, not piercing. I tested this headphone listening to Metal, Techno, Classical and HipHop. It provides the adequate amount of bass in a way the studio meant to be heard, balancing all frequencies as a whole. If you're a bass head looking for bass shattering headphones, where 99% of BASS is all that matters before the actual rest of the music, this is not the product for you. Volume: With the impedance of 64 Ohms, even on a MacBook Air, it is loud enough. About 90db, which is loud enough . If you want louder, it will depend on the equipment you are using. Therefore, I'm pleased with this headphone. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]. 5 |

I had been desiring a set of headphones that didn't have to go in the ear so when I tried on a pair from a total stranger I knew I had to have these no matter the cost. You made that very easy to get with your special deals that you offer. I'm a bass player so the bass is softer then what I prefer but I'll never get any other brand as long as I can afford yours or a cheaper one with the same quality comes out lol! 5 |

I am someone who wants to hear the low end, I like more bass in my music. I've tried so many styles and brands of headphones and ear buds that it's crazy. I was searching for comfortable and amazing sound and these have all that plus the fit is great! I had the mini blue head set but I didn't like the band at the back. These work great. They even fit with my glasses. Don't wonder anymore, go get them! 5 |

Cheap, VERY comfortable, and despite *strong* bass, it's not overpowering. I bought these to use while gaming and as a second reference while mixing music. The bass is strong and definitely forward, but not overpowering. It's pleasing to the ear. The mids and high mids seem well balanced, which is where it matter most in my opinion. Build quality is good. Nothing cheap about them. I really have to say a second time how comfortable they are. My old studio monitor headphones were unbearable after about forty minutes. These can be worn for hours at a time with no discomfort at all. The faux leather on the ear cups is also holding up nicely after owning these for about two years. No cracking or fraying. I've owned a handful of headphones over the years for mixing, listening, and gaming and these are my favorites in terms of comfort by a factor of ten. 5 |

The ear pads on these are harder and thinner than previous headphones I've used causing the bass is more pronunced. The noise isolation is excellent. 5 |
