Sony F7 Professional Video Camera

I do professional videography but I started out years ago shooting on a Pentax K1000 film camera. I bought the a6000 primarily for shooting video with a large sensor camera. This camera is fantastic. At around $500 there is nothing that comes close in features and it has a aps C sensor which is found in 90% of all dslr and mirrorless cameras. I’ve seen canon 1” sensor point ant shoot cameras for hundreds more. I shoot low light wedding videos on this camera and the video looks fantastic. It also shoots video in Sony’s xavc 50 mbps format which is found on Sony cameras and pro camcorders costing thousands more. This small camera is a beast!

I have always had trouble finding a camera bag that I like. I bought the F7 bag a couple of weeks ago, and I love it. The bag is durable and has proven to be water-proof thus far. I have 2 camera bodies that I can fit into this bag. I usually have either a 20mm or 37-70mm on them while I store them in the camera-sleeves within the bags. I usually carry along with them an 80-200mm, 50mm and flash. It is snug, but they all manage to fit ok. I love the zipper pocket at the top of the camera bag as well. It fits everything really well.

Sony-compatible V-Mount battery that professional video-graphers and filmmakers use to power their LED video lights and cameras. Swapping out a few of these batteries can last you a whole day. There's a 5 LED status display on the side, which lets you know the current charge of the battery and they're quick to charge. It's a pretty lightweight battery so that it doesn't affect the stability of the camera or LED lighting panel you attach it to.

Video professional used this products on a Sony Z5 and it worked very well. All the features of this product, Zoom rocker worked smooth and varied in speed to pressure. The Record, Data, and Focus controls worked well stepping through functions. My only 2 criticisms are that there is no Iris control on the unit and the model I purchased was made of ABS Plastic. The plastic is fine if you are careful and remove from your Tripod. The controller is light so great for traveling. Durability is stil something to be evaluated over time.

Professional video producer, using these on a pair of Sony 7506s. The original pads disintegrated. These are SO much more comfortable plus they do a better job of isolating you from ambient sound. Replacing pads on my other cans with these.

I have been using SONY wireless audio for video for several years. They don't fail. Very dependable . If you are professional videographer please always buy professional equipment

I was surprised and not so surprised being that I used and older model of this brand before. This is a great looking monitor And I'v used Sony professional video monitors with price ranges of $5000.00. I work at a T.V. station and when I showed up with this monitor my direct supervisor ask me to write down the model number.
