I have a Zeiss 18mm f2.8 and the Sony FE 35mm f1.8 but needed something in the 24mm focal range. Really wanted the Sony FE 24mm f1.4 the the price was just to high for me. When Sigma announced the 24mm f2 and I saw the price it piqued my interest and after reading and watching some of the reviews by Christopher Frost and Dustin Abbott I decided to pull the trigger and get it. This thing exudes quality, reminds me of some of my Vintage lenses, no cheap plastic on this lens, even has a metal lens hood. It's a joy to use and it's SHARP, very happy. PS I tried to upload some images but was unsuccessful. don't know it the files are to large or what. You can check my flickr account for photos. Robert ' Flickr 5 |

The Sony FE 85mm f1.8 lens is small, compact, light, fast, sharp and a great price compared to other 85mm lens. It's a good accommodation to the Sonya7c which is also small, compact and light. 5 |

Compared to the Sony FE 135mm f1.8 GM is almost as good if not a better but at less than half the price. A MUST OWN LENS FOR ALL Sony full-frame cameras. Perfect piece in budget. 5 |

The Rokinon AF 35mm f1.8 FE lens for Sony E is a remarkable addition to my photography gear. Its wide aperture of f/1.8 delivers stunning low-light performance and beautiful bokeh, making it perfect for portraits and low-light situations. The autofocus is fast and accurate, ensuring crisp shots every time. The build quality is solid, and its compact size makes it highly portable. While some may find it lacking in image stabilization, its affordability and optical quality more than make up for it. Overall, the Rokinon AF 35mm f1.8 FE lens is a fantastic choice for Sony E users seeking sharp, versatile shots. 5 |

I bought this lens to use with my Sony Alpha a9. I needed something wide, prime, sharp, and light/compact for travels + run & gun shooting. I shoot fashion, beauty, and artistic portraits and this lens has been AWESOME for that. What I love about this lens is that it's fairly tiny, keeps the weight down. I pack this with my Sony FE Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 55mm F1.8 ZA & Sony FE 85mm F1.8 lenses. Not exactly a replacement for the true 35mm, but if you're looking for something with a wider aperture than the Sony FE Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* 35mm F2.8 ZA lens, this would it. It's very sharp even at f/2, and you can close it down to 2.8 to make it even sharper. The focus is quick and accurate as well, even in low-light from my experiences. The only challenge may be strong backlighting (like shooting the model in front of white sheers or with sun gleaming in the back around sunrise/sunset). The only thing I would note for your awareness about this is that it is has some distortion to it, so I recommend shooting in RAW when using this (though ideally you should always be shooting in RAW), so that you can use profile correction in Lightroom to fix it. It'll look great after you do that! For the price, quality, and performance, this is a must-have in your kit. = 5 |

Excellent light weight protector for your A7 with the FE f1.8 55mm or the kit lens. Remember...its the D-MIDSIZE pouch. Its like the big bad wolf..one is to small and one is to big...this one is just right. 5 |

Sharper than the FE 35mm sony zeiss offering when used on the a6000. Round aperture blades are also nicer than the straight blades on the Sony Zeiss FE 35mm. Plastic lens hood is sturdy enough. AF is not as noisy as people say online. Focus is quick enough for children and pets. If you are doing video, you should be using a separate recording device anyways. MF is by wire, but no instant overide when you grab the focus ring. Doesn't come with a carrying pouch, but no big deal since it's the one Lens that is permanently attached to my a6000 anyways. There is noticible CA wide open all the way up to f4 in high contrast areas. Phase One's Sony software does a good job cleaning it up. A must have for a6000 still shooters. 5 |
