This has been my main light for my Canon G16 and Canon G7x with Fantasea housings along with my Sealife Micro camera and it has performed flawlessly for two years so far. The company has been very responsive with regards to my strobes and other camera questions. This is my choice for a powerful 2500 Lumen dive light.

This is a great little camera. I have the original G7X that unfortunately decided to eat batteries even though it was not being used. When I called Canon they told me and put it into writing that I could return my old G7X and they would upgrade it to the new G7X for a discount. When I called their sales department to arrange the swap I was told no deal. I called the customer service back and they said sorry. If I didn't like the camera so much, I would have jumped a Sony RX100 V since I have a a7Rii and like it a lot. In the end, I turned to B & H who reliably serviced my needs for all the cameras I have purchased over the past few years. As far as Canon goes however, very poor customer relations. Al Wayne

58mm Kaiser lens cap is perfect fit for my Canon G7X Mark ii camera. The lens cap is a flexible rubbery cap and fits snug yet is easy to pop on and off without scratching the camera lens assembly. Protects the camera mechanical lens wings when in a purse, pocket or bag. I was afraid of lint jetting in the mechanism or an item hitting the lens wings, now no worry! Fits awesome, highly recommend for Canon G7X Mark ii.

I have been with Canon camera for a while now. Started out with the SD850, then moved on to G12 and now G7X M2. I have been waiting for a while for the potential G17 but it never comes. (Actually I would have been settled with G16 with the impressive fast lens f1.8-f2.8) Then comes the Sony Rx 100 Mark4, and then Canon G7X M2. The sony is pricy, but no doubt a good camera, but when I compare G7X M2, the price-performance helps me change my outlook in my decision to pick Canon G7X. I have had the camera for almost 2 weeks now, I am still learning the features (learning curve from G12 to G7X), so far, I and extremely happy with the performance, especially in low light performance, the features is plentiful, mostly likely I never use them all, but the manual is quite comprehensive. Here are my pro and con PRO 1. Body solidly built, the LCD panel is solid during movement to different positions. 2. AF is fast and sharp, I particularly like able to move the AF frame to wherever I like with touch screen. 3. Touch screen capability comes in very handy. I begin to enjoy it very much. 4. Color of pictures is great, just right for me as a long time Canon users. 5. Manual is quite intuitive. ( For me a smooth migration from G12 to G7X) CON:: 1. The strap mount is blocking a little for the Interface compartment door. I particularly don't like the Strap, using wire to mount to the Strap Mount. It is an expensive camera, I just don't trust having wire to keep it from accidental drop. My good old G12 use vinyl strap and mount on both sides. It is very secure when taking pictures. Since I bought a leather cover for my G7x, but with both sides being mount on wire' Strap, the camera can actually rotate around and make knots where the strap mount wires meets meet the mount. 2. The camera is little heavy, but once trade off with solidly built to rubberly casing. 3. The camera does not come with interfacing cable. (a big let down )

I've had the Canon PowerShot G7X Mark II for almost 6 months now and I absolutely love it! I bought this camera so that I could take high quality videos from a relatively small device but I discovered that this camera takes much better pictures than my other high-end DSLR.

Inexpensive way to protect the lens cover mechanism for the g7x. I had a similar camera that I carried in in my backpack and pocket while hiking... the mechanism got stuck with sand in one of my trips. This fits perfectly on the g7x. Although it does not have a hole to attach it to the body/strap, you can make a small cut on the side and tie it up with a ribbon.

I have been using the original G7X for many years, and loved that camera. Except that the continuous shooting mode in RAW format was slow. Finally purchased the Mark III. The newer model is almost identical to the one I am familiar with. With newer hardware, the continuous shooting in RAW was fast. I am very happy with the purchase.
