By far the xm3 is the best headphone I had. It reproduces truly beautiful sounds. It's a must have from Sony!

I boomed pro sound for many years using fish poles and Fisher booms. Hundreds of TV episodes and commercials, and scores of feature films. My favorite was LTM. LTM is gone, but this is the closest knockoff. Just DOUBLE WEAVE THE BANDS or it's too soft. With a Schoeps CMC preamp, Schoeps MK 41 head, Schoeps GVC variable right angle, the hanger pivoted so the mic tube was almost horizontal and the mic head GVC pivoted down, TWO LAYERS OF FOAM MOLESKIN gaffer taped to the top of the hanger itself, it gave a very small vertical profile. Many times I ran backwards down low ceiling hallways on long wide angle tracking shots, dodging C stands, light stands, and hanging practicals, slipped over the Panavision Mag with the Moleskin pad on this kind of shock mount sometimes actually touching the ceiling, and got away with it. It also perfectly handled Sennheiser 416's and Neumann KMR 81's in a normal axis bouncing at the end of a 12 foot fish pole, and hung down well from a Fisher boom using a Fisher dropdown and old Moviola rubber drive coupler. Fast swings, queues, and long in out racks, no problem. But then maybe I'm just too old school to know better.

I guess this will come to no shock to anyone but Sony has done it again. I can't tell you how blowed away I am over all that they have changed to make this headphone better than anything on the market. Making these headphone lighter and adding that new chipset that made the N/C and sound better was the end to all debates about who was truly the best in the world for N/c headphones. The previous one caused me a lot of Migraines and dizziness because of it's clamping and overall weight but these are unlike anything I could have hope for. Thank you so much Sony for making the most complete and best N/C headphone in the world. The bass is the thumping without interfering with the highs and mids. The soundstage is the best I've heard for closed back headphones. I have been listening all sorts of headphones and earphones and these headphones have created the most detailed of all of them. I also love the call quality this time around vs the previous model. Finally I can talk on the phone without the other person complaining about the clarity. They even made Google assistant almost instant.

This headphone stand is perfect in every way. Holds my Sony  MDR-V600 headphones. I recommend these for anyone that needs a headphone stand. Looks great on the desk too.

As an audiophile and someone who owns a large range of headphones, I have to say the MDR-MV1 Open-Back is a fantastic headphone. Period. However, make no mistake, this is a Sony headphone with a Sony Sound. Slightly V shaped but don't let that turn you off. I really do mean slightly. It has a little bass lift but nothing that interferes with the mid's or treble. This is one of the most balanced headphones in my collection. Everything has it's place and comes shining through. Bass - So well balanced. Actually, to these ears darn near perfect. So well balanced and not muddy at all. Mids - Everything where it should be. The vocals sit dead center (if mixed that way) and again, has it's own place in the soundstage. Treble - Nothing spiky in the sound at all. Weight - I forget I am wearing them. They are so light, when I picked-up the box I was really surprised at the weight. For a second I thought they forgot to put the headphones in. No joke. Soundstage - Nothing that is going to stop the planet but well staged and defined. My Audeze has a larger one but those headphones were twice the price. Overall, very pleased. Does not sound crowed at all. Worth it: Up to you. For me, yes. I am willing to bet Sony has a hit on their hands. I love these headphones. They have been plugged into my DAC/AMP since I got them.

This is Sony's first professional headphone in years and they've done it again the sound quality is exceptional the 360° Sony spatial sound is incredible and if you play Dolby Atmos music it gives you virtual Dolby Atmos sound again outstanding headphones for that price

I was looking for something to keep my Sony over the ear headphone safe and secure. Came across Auray desktop headphone stand on B&H website. I ordered one and received it on time. The packaging was of good quality. Upon opening, I was impressed instantly. The stand is sturdy with excellent finishing and very stable on my table. It looks premium and aesthetically superior. And for sure it does what for it was designed for. Definitely I will recommend it.
