Sony Headphone Collection

For a reasonable price, these perform excellently. They are a must in your headphone collection (if you have one).

I bought this to add to my Sony A90K collection. This makes #3.

This will be a short review (see posts from user 'Deaj' on head-fi .org about the Fiio FT5 for my obserrvations on the FT5). The Fiio FT5 headphone has a warm and pleasant voicing, tuned for a relaxed, enjoyable listen. In this regard it slots into my headphone 'collection' (if five headohones count as a collection) where the Sennheiser HD650 once was. The FT5's tuning is different but I use them for the same type of listening- kick back, close eyes, and enjoy. I prefer the velour pads over the pleathers. To my ears the velourd sound more natural. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase!

I'm a bit of a headphone nut and have a collection of probably 20 headphones from different manufacturers and price points - going from $20 headphones to one costing in excess of $1200.00. I realized I did not have a Samson headphone in my collection. I must say I'm impressed by this unit. Given that they are studio headphone, the sound is very balanced with good bass and very pleasant high notes that are never shrill or fatiguing. For the money, these cannot be beat!

By far the xm3 is the best headphone I had. It reproduces truly beautiful sounds. It's a must have from Sony!

This is the best wide angle lens for sony e mount. Have been using it with my Sony a6000 and its been great so far. A must have in your lens collection.

initially used this headphone in a Sony Store, was blown away by the quality and have not found anything better so bought myself one.

I guess this will come to no shock to anyone but Sony has done it again. I can't tell you how blowed away I am over all that they have changed to make this headphone better than anything on the market. Making these headphone lighter and adding that new chipset that made the N/C and sound better was the end to all debates about who was truly the best in the world for N/c headphones. The previous one caused me a lot of Migraines and dizziness because of it's clamping and overall weight but these are unlike anything I could have hope for. Thank you so much Sony for making the most complete and best N/C headphone in the world. The bass is the thumping without interfering with the highs and mids. The soundstage is the best I've heard for closed back headphones. I have been listening all sorts of headphones and earphones and these headphones have created the most detailed of all of them. I also love the call quality this time around vs the previous model. Finally I can talk on the phone without the other person complaining about the clarity. They even made Google assistant almost instant.

Switched from Canon to Sony about a year ago and gathering new lenses. This one is excellent and a must have from the GM collection.
