Sony Headphones For Pc Gaming Without Microphone

I do a lot of things that have to do with gaming both on console and pc. I use it for everything from recording commentary during tournaments to having voice communication during online play. There is nothing wrong with this microphone in anyway. It may not be an extremely high end microphone but for it's price it can't be beat. It is well built; it's almost completely metal with absolutely no flimsiness or weakness at all in it's build. The things I like best about the microphone is that it's completely universal. It plugs right and starts to work on both my pc and my gaming consoles. The other thing is that it's the only microphone that works with consoles that has a complete line of accessories like wind screens and shock mounts. The only mark I can give against the microphone is that it cannot be compared to much higher end microphones. But it's an unfair comparison because this is the only microphone that fulfills it's specific role.

These are some really good headphones. I use these primarily for PC gaming with voice chat. Audio in the headphones is very clear and has a good balance of bass & treble. Good mic as well; my buddy who I game with can hear me clearly. The cushions are also pretty comfortable. I’ve gamed several hours at a time while wearing glasses with minimal to no discomfort. The HyperX PC app is very intuitive. It helps control settings like mic monitoring (which I usually turn on) and equalizer and shows an accurate battery percentage. Battery life is crazy long. I been using these approx. a month off the initial charge, gaming around 20-30 hours a week and I still have about 60% charge.

I bought these headphones before Christmas and have been using them while gaming and listening to music on my PC. The sound is amazing and they are really comfortable even after using them for hours in a row. The noise canceling feature works great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a headset that was diverse in gaming but that could also be used for video calling. The JBL Quantum 910X really delivered on expectations and then some! It feels high quality and durable in my hands. Not a fan of the plastic but it’s something I can get past because green is my favorite color and the accent is just French kiss. The gaming experience: While wearing the headset, I immediately noticed how comfortable and surprisingly lightweight they felt on my head and around my ears. At times I would game for 1-2 hours around 3-4 times a week and not once did they feel uncomfortable or did I feel any fatigue for wearing them which is really welcoming considering how headphones can feel overtime. When I used the Quantum 910X to for RPG, FPS or sports games, the sound effects sounded crystal clear making it an even more enjoyable gaming experience. I truly felt “in the zone”. It really makes a difference having gaming headphones. I did not test the microphone while gaming a lot because I’m more of a solo act, but when I did test them for the sole purpose of gaming, my partner said I sounded good through the microphone. The other uses experience: The Quantum 910X also helped boost my efficiency and productivity as I used them for online work meetings and video calling and whoever was on the call could hear me quite clearly. If you are looking for a headset that can perform multiple tasks, I’d highly recommend these. Feels like a call centre when I’m not gaming haha. Apart from video calls, playing music through them is also good, maybe less so than dedicated headphones for that department in my opinion but still gets a little bassy (for me) and has some good passive noise cancellation from the earcups themselves. Overall: I love them! I’ll probably use them a lot more because it got the microphone so it’s more multifunctional than normal headsets.

The sound quality is great, and the microphone quality is great. This is one of the most comfortable sets of over-ear headphones I've ever used. The battery life has been great so far, lasting for entire-day gaming sessions. I love the ability to both remove the mic, and also do flex and adjust it away from you if you need to drink. The mute button and volume wheel on the headset are a nice touch and make this a fantastic option for easy use during conference calls as well as gaming. My only gripe is that these don't have bluetooth connectivity, and can't be used with a device that doesn't take the USB dongle. I'd love to be able to switch these between my desktop and laptop/phone like I can with my G915 keyboard, and G-pro mouse - however, I usually use different headphones for music anyways. For the price point, this is a FANTASTIC set of headphones. I couldn't be happier.

It's rare seeing a pair of headphones that genuinely shine in almost every regard. But with the WH-1000XM3, Sony has created an indisputable winner, a categorically top-notch set of cans whose only shortcoming is the absence of 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, something we hardly ever see outside of the gaming market. They do have Bluetooth, though, so as long as you have a smart TV, an Nvidia Shield, a gaming laptop, or a Bluetooth-capable motherboard, you should be set for the reclusive world of active noise canceling. Unlike other noise-canceling headphones, the WH-1000XM3 use an unusually silent QN1 HD noise-canceling processor. In our testing, we found it was able to keep out most sounds, even on the crowded New York City subway. The battery does take a hit for this, but you can take solace in the fact that the WH-1000XM3 last 30 hours fully charged. After 10 minutes of being plugged in via USB-C, Sony claims they can deliver pristine high fidelity sound over five hours. And, to top it all off, volume and playback commands are touch-based. Without a doubt, the best all in one camera. Just wish it took the bigger Sony battery.
