Sony Headphones Wh 1000Xm4 Replacement Ear Pads

I’ve had my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones for a few weeks now, and I can’t imagine my life without them. The noise cancellation is out of this world—it’s like flipping a switch to shut out the chaos around me. Whether I’m on a noisy train or just trying to focus at home, these headphones create a bubble of pure peace. The sound quality is something else. Every song sounds full and vibrant, with deep bass that doesn’t overwhelm and clear, crisp highs. It’s like hearing my favorite music for the first time again. The touch controls took a little getting used to, but now I love how easy it is to manage playback or take calls without missing a beat. What really surprised me is how comfortable they are. I can wear them for hours without feeling any discomfort, which is a big deal for me since I often have them on during long work sessions. Plus, the battery life is impressive—I’ve gone days without needing to charge them. Overall, the Sony WH-1000XM4 has exceeded all my expectations. My frame of reference is the Sony WH-1000XM4 (my wife's) and WH-1000XM3 (which I sold after getting these). The main plus is over the other two the great detailed sound. I have four headphones, earbuds for the gym (Sony WF-1000XM4, I hate over ear headphones when working out), gaming headphones for my computer, very expensive headphones for TV and music at night when my wife is asleep, and these for when I am traveling when noise cancellation is important. I listen to podcasts when I am a passenger in a car (frequently) and watch movies when traveling in a plane and hanging out. I can understand dialogue much better with these headphones over the Sony's. Though noise cancellation isn't quite as good as the Sony WH's (though superior to the WF-1000XM4), it is still very impressive and the superior clarity of the Momentums more than makes up for that. My main complaint is that I cannot get the Sennheiser app to work with these headphones. Though I do not need to turn up the treble to help clarify speech (I do with the Sony's when listing to podcasts and movies), it could be desirable. I think where it could help is with some rock songs. The Sony WH's sound better on some songs due to their fuller sound. I think I could compensate for that on some songs with the equalizer by turning up the bass. Having said that some songs still sound better on the Momentums.

With the WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones, I can hear crystal clear and have total noise cancellation from the kids or whatever is going on at home. First, let me say that these are super comfortable and not heavy on my ears. I sometimes have to wear them for hours with no discomfort at all. Secondly, pairing is easy and there is a multi-pairing feature so you can take calls, without having to remove your headphones and can switch between your music on one device and calls on another with the touch sensor. You can also skip tracks, adjust the volume control, and activate your voice assistant with the touch control. I like that your music pauses when you remove the headphones and will start back where you were when you put them back on. There is a speak to chat that automatically adjusts volume when making calls so your calls are very clear. The battery life is excellent and will give you up to 30 hours when fully charged. Lastly, the microphones (5) pick up every word with precise clarity. The sound quality is unbelievable! I can honestly say I love my Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones!

I needed to replace the ear pads on my Sony MDR-7506 headphones - this for the second time... I use them to monitor audio levels during production. The originals and previous replacements wore out quickly, leaving flakey black plastic bits all over my head, face and ears. NOT acceptable. I am trusting that Sheepskin leather will hold up much better.

Purchase Sony WH-1000XM4 on Oct 14, 2020. Arrived on time and it was easy to setup. Product is great light weight. But missing feature is mute/unmute. Also sometimes it is loosing connection from my 2nd device (MacBook Pro)
