You have no idea how long and how much money I have spent trying to find a solid and heavy 1/4" TRS Headphone adapter like the ones that come with the Sony MDR series headphones but without the threaded input. THIS IS the one. It's heavy and made of solid material unlike most everything being sold online. The fit is firm and tight. No play whatsoever. The quality is in a class above the rest. This easily replaces the stock ones that come with the Sony MDR series headphones. I highly recommend this for people that demand quality. You won't be disappointed. 5 |

I'm using it for video editing primarily and also listening music. It would've been nice if the cord was detachable and had non-coil type, straight cord. I usually use it with my laptop and the cord is too long and makes it a little heavy. Before purchasing, I debated between this and Sony MDR-10R, but i saw some reviews that MDR-10R has too much bass. For listening pleasure, I prefer having extra bass, but I wouldn't want any particular range to be exaggerated for production purpose. This pair sounds really clear and crisp. Before this I had a lot of headphones in $$range, and the previous one I was using was old Bose on-ear headphones. With MDR-7506 I could hear some sounds that I did not notice with the Bose pair. And this feels a lot more comfortable on my ears. I'm totally satisfied. 5 |

I use these earpads with rather old Sony MDR-V6 headphones. I have found them to be very comfortable. 5 |

Sony MDR-7506 Headphones are one of the most prestigious headphones for audio production for a reason. Highs, mids, and lows are crystal clear and I'm able to wear these for hours without the ear pain. Could not recommend these headphones enough. 5 |

I needed to replace the ear pads on my Sony MDR-7506 headphones - this for the second time... I use them to monitor audio levels during production. The originals and previous replacements wore out quickly, leaving flakey black plastic bits all over my head, face and ears. NOT acceptable. I am trusting that Sheepskin leather will hold up much better. 5 |

I got this as a replacement for the adapter that came with my SONY MDR-7506 headphones. Fits perfectly. Buy it. 5 |

Nothing seems hyped with these headphones...very solid, less bright than the Sony MDR-7506...and seemingly more like what I hear in the room with reasonable speakers. Also, noise isolation is much better. There is a fair amount of handling noise passed to the ears from the cable though...but that is avoidable. Very glad I am mixing livestreams with these now. 5 |

I am really pleased with my new Sony MDR-7506 headphones. The sound is great. The headphones are comfortable. I don't know how they could be any better. 5 |
