Sony Mdr V6 Headphones Review

I use these earpads with rather old Sony MDR-V6 headphones. I have found them to be very comfortable. 5 |

This replacement ear pad is better than the original for my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. I use these for recording marching band contests and they are very comfortable. 5 |

I have a decade old MDR-V6 SONY headphones. Replacing the old pads with Pearstone earpads made them like new. Could be a slight sonic difference compared to the old pads, but I just listen to music, so it didn't make any difference to me. The pads are more comfortable than the old ones. 5 |

These work great. The earpads that came with my Sony MDR-v6 headphones started to flake and fall apart pretty quickly. I got these as a replacement. They fit perfectly and feel a lot studier than the original earpads. 5 |

These fit snuggly on my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. Maybe a little overpriced as they probably cost about 50 cents to make. But it was a great alternative to spending $100 on new headphones. 5 |

I had been using a pair of Sony MDR-V6 studio headphones for years and years and always thought them fine. A friend convinced me to try these Sennheiser HD 600 and they are astonishinly better than my old trusty Sonys in every way - the clarity and sense of space in stereo recordings is amazing. 5 |

I have a pair of Sony MDR-V6 headphones, and the SMH-500 has a very similar fit and sound. They are very comfortable on the head. With the SMH-500 being available in the mid $30 range on sale, I'd grab a pair over the more expensive Sonys. 5 |

Good improve for my Sony MDR-V6 headphones and made them more comfortable to wear and increased the sound isolation. 5 |

I installed a set of Pearstone velour earpads on my Sony MDR V6 headphones and am completely satisfied with the results. They are significantly more comfortable then the original Sony plastic pads, and do at least as well at sealing out ambient noise. They take a little patience to install since the internal band is pretty tight, but once on, they stay-put. The velour looks like it will hold up better than the very thin imitation leather that the Sony's were originally equipped with (which only lasted a few years before developing cracks and flaking off). All in all, a very inexpensive way to prolong the life of some old phones. 5 |
