Sony Mirrorless Camera On Sale Amazon Prime Day

I purchased an Apple 11 iPad Pro from Amazon during their Prime Day sale. The Amazon delivery date (forget about 2 day) kept slipping all the way to three weeks out. I really needed my iPad so I checked B&H. They had it in stock and at a LOWER price!! Two days later I had my new iPad. My first stop for electronics is now B&H! They always come thru!

This is my first mirrorless camera and WOW.... I’m blown away. I love it & love that it was on sale!

After a neighborhood dog got spooked by fireworks, was lost for 4 days & then found dead in tall grass in an elderly couple's overgrown yard with a watering can stuck on his head... I realized we needed a better way to do visual searches there's far too many limitations on naked eye visibility or even with binoculars . I decided to look into getting an entry level Thermo imaging monocular, I chose this one after reading reviews elsewhere but found it here at the most affordable price- even better than Amazon Prime Day! It was shipped the same day of ordering & packaged beautifully. Arrived quickly (quicker than some of my Amazon Prime Day orders!). I was instantly impressed with this monocular & quickly realized there are many more useful applications. From inspecting our home's roof & walls, to detecting inflammation on 2 & 4 legged family members, to seeing present wild life when you had no clue they were there. Camera & photos aren't the greatest but in all honesty I have no need to save what I see beyond showing how cool Thermo imaging is. I may upgrade to a more advanced Thermo imager later but for right now, my needs & at this price point it's pretty darn great!!

This turned out to be exactly what I hoped it would be. A perfect day bag for my Sony A7 Mirrorless camera. Just about perfect for the camera and a couple of lenses.Pockets for batteries and lens caps and all the little cords and nicknacks needed for a long day of shooting. The way this bag sits comfortably and stays put with the stabilizing strap and adds a more shell-like waterproof protection for my expensive gear. Amazing little bag.

Having used both the Ronin S and the Ronin SC, if you have a light set up (mirrorless Sony a7iii and prime lens 35mm f1.8) this is definitely the gimbal to choose. With the latest software update, the Ronin S gets all the features from the SC but the SC is much lighter, it has almost the same battery life and it's also more affordable. Highly recommend it.

I come from a full frame Canon background and I recently picked up this lens for a Sony Alpha 6000 to use as a webcam. It not only performs like a champ as a webcam, it shoots photos well. AF speed is decently fast. It's certainly not the fastest but it's def on the fast side. Sharpness is also very good. I've seen sharper lenses but as a prime 1.4, its photos are pretty sharp. The size is large for a Sony mirrorless APS-C, but coming from full-frame lens world, this lens is much smaller than what I'm used to. It attracts less attention when you're outside. Overall, this is a relatively cheap lens that performs well on a Sony mirrorless body. I don't think you can go wrong with this if you're looking for a wide angle prime. Haven't really done portrait shots, but as a talking head zoom camera, it does its job really well. There are also many YouTube review videos and the they're very positive. I recommend you check them out as well. Thank you!
