Sony Music As 400 Headphones

I've never spent so much money on headphones, especially as I purchased with the top of the range Sony portable DAC (NW-WM1Z), and i did so because i wanted to know for myself if the reviews are real. I'm no audiophile, but i have been blown away time and time again, literally...laugh out loud experiences are continual. I have nearly 5000 albums and i'm slowly working through them like i'm hearing them for the first time. To Sony - thank you so much for investing in the R&D and team to allow them to create such an array of products that for those of us willing to make the financial sacrifices can enjoy. I've never liked a product so much, and i'll continue to be an ardent follow of all future Sony hi-res audio equipment, this entire experience for me was unique and mind blowing and i just can't wait to go to bed every night to escape into my music. I'm obsessed with listening to anything and everything on these headphones. And every day i'm amazed...its a gift that keeps on giving. Just WOW. To the Z1R product team - thank you sooooo much, i'm so, so grateful to enjoy my music with these!! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I've owned my fair share of Bluetooth headphones, none of them have had ANC and, honestly, I wasn't sure if I really needed a noise cancelling feature at all in my headphones. I most often listen to music while at home where it's relatively quiet, anyway. But I was excited anyway to finally try out the noise cancelling capabilities of these Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones, and I couldn't be more impressed. Even when I'm just in my bedroom listening to music, these headphones dull the sound of my noisy air purifier and bring the music into crystal-clear focus. These are great sounding headphones, but it's the ANC and attention to design and detail that really make for an impressive listening experience. With other Bluetooth headphones I've owned, even the ones that had good sound quality, I've always felt like I need to turn up my music really loud in order to properly "feel" it, which was probably terrible for my hearing health. But even at lower volumes, these Sony headphones sound clear and vibrant. The 360 Reality audio capability is really awesome as well. I set it up with my Tidal HiFi subscription and played one of my favorite albums I've heard a hundred times, yet I swear I was hearing details and depth in the music that I had never heard before. And what's even better is that these headphones have all these great features while keeping them super easy to use and super comfortable to wear. I usually wear glasses, and typically glasses plus headphones equals massive headache after more than a few minutes of use, but these Sony headphones put no pressure on my glasses. The headband doesn't dig into the top of my head either, like other headphones often do on me. This level of comfort, in combination with long battery life, means that I can use these for many hours with zero worries, just pure focus on the music. What more could you want? 5 |

Bought 1 month ago and not disappointed. Great Sony product matches up to all my music/video system with ease - all the connections you could need. Only niggle I have is that when I connect my wireless headphones to the front jack it cuts out the sound to the external speakers (I am a little hard of hearing and would like to use my headphones to watch TV without needing to have the speaker volume up to a higher level that is uncomfortable for my partner watching at the same time). 5 |

This is one of the best headphones I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The refined sound signature is something that really agrees with my listening preference, practically no listening fatigue with them at all. At the same time, it's very involving with a wide and tall soundstage, rich textural mids and vocals and great bass and sub-bass extension, when called for. Perfect for any music genre really. The design and comfort is absolutely top notch as well. Note, if you prefer headphones with very strong highs/treble, these are not for you. The treble is accurate, yet laid back compared to other headphones which seem to need to shoot the treble in to your ears in the guise of being 'high resolution'. Sony really stepped it up in all respects with their Z1R headphones. They're made in an in-house artisan department within Sony as well, not mass produced. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones after a lot of research. I absolutely love these headphones. The sound quality is unreal and the noise cancelling works great. I mow lawn and weed wack with these on and can hear the music perfectly. I love the sensor in the left ear that stops the music when you take them off and restarts when you put them back on. All in all I am absolutely loving these Headphones. 5 |

I have a pair of mid-priced Sony headphones I bought in the 90's. I usually listened to compressed music on a high end cellphone. Last month I bought a Fiio player from B&H and loaded it with uncompressed music. This month I bought the Audio Technia ATH-M50x headphones. Of course I can hear nuances in the sound I never heard before! Another less obvious benefit is much less listening fatigue. My ears thanked me for that, so will yours! 5 |

Now that I have had the, Sony WH-100XM3 Headphones, for a couple of weeks, I can say that these have met, or exceeded, my desires for an over-the-ear wireless headphone. Now I can listen to music, and hear it in incredible detail, without relying on speakers and bothering those that don't want to listen to my choices in music. The battery life is great, the touch gestures are fantastic, and the dang thing is comfortable to wear! Gripes? Like most others have said, the USB-C charging cable is ridiculously short. Easily remedied, though. Bravo, Sony! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones are one of the best headphones I have ever own, is one of Sony’s already excellent line of Bluetooth headphones. They are very comfortable and has the best noise cancelling headphone. The music comes through full and clear, one thing I noticed is that when You have the headphones on and people are talking you won’t be able to hear anything they are saying even with the music off that is how good and concealed they are. Sony has finally created a XM4 headphone that has multipoint pairing. I’m very pleased with my headphones I Definitely recommend it if you are looking for a good quality concealed headphones!! 5 |
