Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones Review Wh 1000Xm2

I tested 4 other noise cancelling headphones and returned them all finally settling on the WH-1000XM3 for a the following reasons: 1. Very Long Battery Life 2. Setup app allowed me to fine tune the sound to my taste 3. Noise cancelling is top rate 4. Sound is good but not as good as my audiophile wired headphones, and I wouldn't expect them to be. 5. I used to Sony WH-1000XM2 and this new model absolutely incredible. I love how they look, how they sound and new case looks awesome. It feels lighter also then previous model.

Ive had several other noise cancelling headphones by Bose (QC35 II) and Beats (Studio Wireless) and I always hailed Bose as king of Noise Cancelling headphones. Now the only thing that Bose has over Sony is the durability of the headphones, my Bose headphones I could pretty much bend however I wanted and they wouldn't break. The Sony's are a bit more stiff, but the material is still premium! I originally went with Bose because of their comfort though, I like to wear my headphones for an extended period of time and the old Sony's (XM1 and XM2) got uncomfortable after a few hours. With the new design however, I can see myself wearing these all day! What does Sony have to offer that's better than Bose? - Noise cancelling (much better) - Sound quality - Battery life - Customization through app - Accessories (better quality auxiliary charger cords, as well as a good airplane adapter!!) - USB-C Charger!!! (as a MacBook Pro owner this was a must, I hated micro-usb so much) - Comfort? (I'm still testing this out but ill update in a few weeks if its better or on-par with the Bose QuietComfort 35 ii)

I went into B&H looking for a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. The floor attendant told me that it would be mostly a toss-up between Sony and Bose for top-of-the-line equipment. I eventually settled on Sony because I was more interested in listening to natural voice than to bass and musical effects. So far so good. I am happy with the performance, which kept my ears protected during the 9-hour flight home.
