I bought this lens kit with the D90, and is a great all around lens. I went to DC with it and pictures came very sharp. I will recommend to anyone starting in DSLR like me. ...

My Sony Bravia is the best, and my PlayStation. The best gaming system with best television how can you go wrong.

Maybe this isn't quite what Sony had in mind for it's adapter. I use a 12 volt dc sealed cell battery, plug a 120 volt converter into that, then convert it back into dc with the Sony adapter. I do that for extreme extended battery use for astrophotography field use. It seems to work fine. There's no overheating in any part of my contraption, including the Sony Adapter.

For those of us replacing thousands of dollars worth of UHF mics which are about to become obsolete, this is a surprisingly robust choice. I've tested four of these (at the same time) in NYC (mid-town Manhattan) as well as in downtown Washington DC , and they are flawless. Per other reviewers, you can hear a bit of latency if you're monitoring the receiver output in real time, but so far, it hasn't shown-up on the actual video playback. The other most-frequent complaint I saw in the reviews was frequency interference (dropouts or complete loss of audio) in large auditoriums. Since I always work in smaller venues (only up to large conference rooms), I took a chance on these and ended up buying four, as my test results remained 100% positive in the smaller venues (even in NYC & DC). Just be sure to use the Sony-supplied cable between the receiver and your camera (or from each of multiple receivers to your usual splitter to your camera), as you need 25db to 35db of attenuation which is built-in to the Sony-supplied cable. Thanks to a couple of other reviewers for mentioning this in passing.

Adapts AC for use in our DC powered Sony A7ii. Very handy for long duration applications.

Watson Compact AC/DC Charger for NP-FW50 Battery is a professional, good quality battery charger for my Sony a6500 batteries. I use these and the Sony brand. Both are good. These are a little larger than the Sony ones. Bill Mahon Photo

I'm using this lens on my Sony a6400. I also have the Sigma 16mm DC DN Contemporary lens, but I needed a bit more flexibility in framing of my subjects and the 18-50 is perfect. Well built, excellent quality. I love it!

Sony NP-FW50 batteries are 7.4V, and this battery plate has a DC output for both 7.4V and 12V, meaning you can power Sony a-series cameras off an l-series battery. In other words, you're never going to run out of power again if you have a cage and a few spare l-series batteries, which are way cheaper than buying numerous NP-FWs. Super simple, super well made, and does what it needs to.
