I've had an EcoBee thermostat now for 4+ years, added room and door sensors and all works great. Initially early sensors were crap but new ones (bigger & better range) work much better. We also added door & window sensors. Now Ecobee & Generac merged and we monitor our generator from thermostat. 5 |

I am using this product from past 4 weeks, i see that sensors are working perfectly. Door sensor with motion sensor is a great idea. Good thing is , It can use other ecobee sensors too in away mode or can be configured in stay mode. Sensors are reliable than smarthings. 5 |

Absolutely delivers on its promise. Love how it's not only used for HVAC, but also security with its occupancy sensor. Highly recommend this product and the subscription plan. The annual plan is very affordable given how it does 2 for 1 (HVAC and security). Get it in a bundle for a better value. Trust me when I say the more sensors the better, but don't go too crazy. At least add the door sensors to your doors. Then, the windows you open the most frequently. These ecobee devices can work with many sensors simultaneously. The install was very easy. Just make sure to clean the surface. For doors, make sure the door does not swing and hit the sensor while being close enough for the sensors to work. 5 |
