Good quality merchandise .... Price is excellent for a 500 GB portable hard drive(but actual space is 465 GB).The drive has been fast enough and totally quiet during reads/writes(but drive comes with no documentation (manual) or case/bag. Even with the best backup software the first full backup (100+ gigabytes) takes a LONG time (hours)). 5 |

Although I actually haven't had the opportunity to use this so far (absolutely no success in cloning the original 500 gb version of the same model onto a secondary drive so I can swap the 2 out), I'm sure I'll love & trust this 1tb version just as much. Too bad I can't say the same of the paid version of Acronis 2021. That I will probably have to get a refund on. 5 |

I had a 500 GB M2 drive lying around that I bought just for gaming on Windows using my deep learning Linux box. It was fun to see what the latest GPUs are capable of in the graphics department, but then I realized that I don't have time for that and turned that drive into the biggest, fastest thumb drive I've ever known. 5 |

i bought 970 evo plus 1tb ssd a month ago nearly im very impressed with its performance its speed is as advetised even a bit more (read/write) its my second samsung ssd i use one as boot drive(980 pro 500 gb) but my pc is also decent enough (sadly not pcie 4 but still ok ish) specs 9700kf 32 gb ram 500gb samsung 980 pro 500 gb 1tb 970 evo plus 1tb motherboard asus prime z390 m plus (pcie 3 sadly but still very fast for me) overall samsung is great brand i use samsung phones for years i never had problems with any samsung product .even my old pc ram is samsung 2gb (been using it for over 10 years ) samsung is very good 5 |
