The 1TB version of this disc was on-sale at a great price. The PRO version is very fast and everything works really well ! A couple of things to note ... If you leave the unit plugged-in, it gets a little warm. Also, I had to reformat the disc for use with my MAC (running Ventura). There were a couple of file transfer glitches when I was initially populating the disc. Those were cured with formatting (and the process took virtually no time at all). Neither issue was any sort of problem. But, I thought they were worth mentioning ... 5 |

I previously was using my PS5 to play 4k Blu Rays and when this one went on sale I decided to upgrade to a stand alone player. The quality is amazing and a big step up from the PlayStation. After watching a few movies I realized the PlayStation was washed out and the colors were muted. The Panasonic player is silent and can handle any movie I put in it. The menu is great and allows you to customize basically every setting and let's you save up to 4 presets. Definitely worth the upgrade from a console. 5 |

I own the previous Noctilux f1.0 with 6 bit. Comparing the two models, this new version is not only 5% brighter, the main focused area is sharper than the previous version. Amazing lens for M9 Digital format. But if you want the softer Noctilux result, the previous version will do fine. 5 |
