Really a wonderful CD player. he sound reproduction is ferric. Makes you believe you are in a music hall.

I love my new CD player. The music is clear and beautiful, and I love walking with my CD player and noise canceling headphones. It's worlds better than listening to music on my iPhone because it's clearer and no interruption or low battery that can occur when relying on phone. I highly recommend this CD listening product.

I replaced my old stereo/cd player/big speaker unit with the sleek Sonos 5. No more messy wires, no loading/unloading cd's, just choose a playlist from my computer or tablet and go. I haven't used any streaming music services because I have so much music loaded onto my computer, so can't comment on that aspect. But I was pleasantly surprised with local radio availability. The Sonos 5 is more than enough for my smallish house. I love it.

I was looking to upgrade my 12 Year Old Yamaha CD Multi Disc player and was considering other brands. Much to my surprise Yamaha brought their multi disc player back for 2024. I just received it and the sound is great! Much better than streaming music. Just like turntables, CD's are back and this player is a great investment to enjoy your music. B&H is also an authorized Yamaha dealer. I'm now purchasing a second unit to meet my music needs.

I'm 70 years old and not particularly "tech savvy"; however, set up of my Sono 5 was extremely simple (didn't even have to ask the grandkids for help!). Literally, within minutes I had music playing from my Amazon Prime account. We have a CD player that holds 300 CD's and plays through out intercom system (not a good system); however, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that we could connect the Somo 5 directly to the CD player and now can listen to our collection without downloading them to the computer. Really like the fact that we're able to listen to a wide variety of music through the streaming capability and are even using the Sono to listen to our favorite local talk radio station. It's a little pricey but worth every penny. Oh...and the sound is awesome! We're loving it!

I'm a one-man band with a small CD player (for background tracks), and Roland AC60 amp. I use the line out feature from the cd player to the aux input of the amp. I had no way to EQ the music, which sometimes has too many highs, and vise versa. The Mx153 gives me the EQ capability I need to soften or brighten up the music as needed. Thanks Rolls, and Thanks B&H for the great service and low price.

The CD player seems very solid and plays perfectly. There are various options, like playing music from a thumb drive, which I am unlikely to use but is no doubt a good thing. Setting up was exceptionally easy.

It is taking the place of compact CD player.
