AC adapter works very well!

It is an AC adapter... I can only say it works...

I have the Zoom H6 and wanted to be able to use it as a standalone recorder for podcasting. I didn't want to waste the batteries so I bought this AD-17 AC adapter. I've know used it for a podcast and it works wonderfully. It doesn't come with a USB cord to attach it to the H6, but the H6 already came with one so it wasn't needed. I don't know about the other recorders but if they come with a USB cord (to go into the computer) you can use it for this adapter. I did record to a computer at the same time but I used the line out function so it has an male stereo audio into my griffin imic for my Mac computer. So all that is separate. If you needed an extra USB cable then you'd have to buy it. That would be the only drawback of this adapter. For example if you weren't loading the SD card from the recorder into your computer using a card reader of some sort and wanted to use the recorder for that, then you might need an extra cable or you'd have to use batteries. Fortunately those cords aren't expensive. The only other negative I can think of is that the direction the prongs of the plug face means that the AC adapter may cover up some additional plugs on a power strip. It's best if it's plugged in at the right facing end.

I use this to charge Canon batteries. Plugs into AC outlet, has DC Car Adapter and has a USB charging port making it an all in one device. Satified with quality.

Previously, without the Sabrent docking station, I had an assortment of external drives, each with separate hard drive enclosures and a mess of USB cables and AC adapter cords. Now, with the Sabrent docking station, I use _one_ USB cable and _one_ AC adapter cable to connect these external drives from the docking station to my computer. The build quality of the Sabrent docking station is excellent: sturdy and well-engineered. I plan to buy another Sabrent docking station very soon.

Using the AC Adapter allows me to keep my camera powered and free's up the USB port on the camera to power my mic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this comes with everything you need - including the AC wall adapter. Simple to use, unbox it, plug in the included USB cable to the included USB wall adapter and then the AC plug. It has rubberized pads on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. Next, you lay your phone on the pad and that's it. There's a white LED light on the pad that lights up when it's charging. I tested this with 3 phones - one in a generic case, one in a brand name thin case and one in a brand name thicker case. All 3 phones immediately went into charge mode, even with the cases on. They charged quickly and weren't 'picky' about where the phone was placed on the charging surface - what more could you ask for?

It's a great compact usb 3 hub.The included ac adapter and standalone hub usb charging feature is a great feature.Also nicely matches Transcends usb 3 card reader, with a similar style and form factor, just slightly wider and longer than the card reader.

This ac adapter rocks and is so versatile. Having a 100w USB-C ac adapter with auto-detection of outgoing voltages and a maximum output of 100W is fantastic. It can provide a huge amount of power for devices that need it (or can handle it), but will also adjust to those that need less, so it is extremely versatile. It's like the Swiss Army knife of ac adapters. I plugged it into my MacBook Air and it worked flawlessly. Then I tried it with my iPad Mini and it had no problems with that too. And charged the iPad quickly I might add. I then used it to charge my Watson Pro Mini v-mount battery (AM-144-MN), that can charge through USB-C, and it worked great with that too. I'm telling you this is an incredibly convenient item. It's going to be great to leave on my editing desk to use for my laptop (while leaving the original power supply in the laptop bag) or for having a power supply stationed at my desk for anything else that uses usb-c. But it will really come in handy when I travel, since I can use it with so many devices. This will save the headache of bringing multiple ac adapters. I love traveling as light as possible, and this helps with that a great deal. I love that. Having built-in circuit protection circuitry makes it even more versatile, because you can use it in countries that do not use 110V. This ac adapter will adjust accordingly. Third party vendors kept trying to sell me adapters with the wrong power output. They would have ruined my Yoga laptop. Not only was the price reasonable, it arrived two days earlier than expected.
