Sony Playstation Event 2017

I bought these for the big 2017 eclipse event, and they did not disappoint. I was very impressed with their performance, and was happy to have them in place of the viewing glasses. The detail visible on the surface of the sun (sun spots, etc.) was great, and watching the moon move in before totality was amazing. Once I got the hang of finding the sun, I had no issue using them - but they are a little tougher than just the glasses. Users should also be sure to lean up against something (or lay down) to help prevent movement. I'm excited to use them again to periodically check on solar events, as well as to watch things like the transit of Mercury in 2019. 5 |

Bought this in 2017 and a second one the following year with radio controller. I have hauled them to every event I have shot since. No problems except the bounce card got torn out of one of them and wouldn't go back in. Other than that, dependable and bright. Use them on light stands with umbrellas when I can. I rarely need to use full power so recycling is fast. Even when used solo, the flash units provide amazing reach. When an event goes long, it is easy to swap out AA batteries and get back shooting. 5 |

I connect these headphones into a Sony Playstation Vita and listen to songs using the Sony Music Unlimited application. This gives me adequate emphasis of bass to help me determine the notes which are sometimes difficult to hear and decipher. When wanting to play along to the music simultaneously using either guitar or bass, I simply plug MDR-7506 through the headphone port on subwoofer/amp combo or DI box. The Playstation Vita is then connected to auxillary port using appropriate auxillary cable. I then have the option of muting the output to the internal speaker depending on whether or not I want my neighbors to hear. MDR-7506 also come with a pouch to carry headphones and cable in. The earpads are soft which make extended listening appropriate. Though, I am fearful these pads may breakdown or tear at a faster rate or higher percentage. This is ok since the earpads themselves can be replaced without buying a complete new product. Another concern is the thin wire connection run independently to the left and right speakers. They could become caught within the sliding adjustment piece that is used to accomodate different head sizes. No worry just something to be aware and cautious of in advance. Overall, the sound is excellent with great clarity and bass. The price was just right for my budget. I wanted to splurge and spend more on this component of my system. However, after testing several other higher priced models, I simply could not justify passing up the quality this unit provided. Legitimacy confirmed! 5 |

I have had this lens since Jan. 2017. I use it with Sigma's MC-11 adapter on my Sony A7R2 and love it. It has seen thousands of shots in all conditions here and in Europe and has become my carry-around favorite. Sharp, fast focus and solidly built. Easily outperforms my similar Canon lens I had for my 5D before I switched to Sony. And it is $300 less expensive than the new Sony version. I am an award-winning photojournalist of 40 years and my gear must perform in all weather and hold up to my use. The Sigma Art series lenses I have, 20mm F1.4; 85mm F1.4, this 24-105 F4, and the Sigma Contemporary series 150-600 f5.6-6.3 are tough, sharp, fast focusing, low distortion and every bit as good for high-megapixel cameras as the best of Canon, Sony and Nikon. I do have some Sony G-master lenses too, but my Sigmas are easily their equal. 5 |

I bought Sony RX10m4 in 2017 and has been using it for over 5 years for travel photography and occasional video. It is the best bridge camera that combines reasonable quality sensor (type 1) with exceptional zoom, good build, reasonable size and weight. When I am on the go, I cannot imagine shlepping full-frame camera with all the glass and weight for a similar zoom range. Unfortunately, battery life is not great. I always carry 3 spare batteries with me. 5 |

Purchased an A7II for My wife in 2017, She preferred the RX10 III, so in late 2017 we purchased a RX10 III for her. I started using the A7II and fell in love with this camera. I shoot 99% manually, using back button focus. Unfortunately after about 72,000 pictures the shutter started sticking and having shutter errot issues. I sent this A7II in for repairs and it takes forever for the repairs. Repairs are also expensive. I could not wait for the A7II repairs, so while the 2 YEAR OLD A7II IS in for repairs. My wife and I went and Purchased this New A7II, 04-2019. We love Sony Cameras and as Hobby Photographers, our photos Turn out beautiful without hours of Post editing. Yes even though the first A7II had shutter issue. I love these cameras so much, with an adapter, I use my wives old Minolta mount lenses manually and the camera stabilizer works great. Best combo of lenses for me is Sony 24-240, Sony 90mm macro, Sony Zeiss 35mm. This Camera allows me to have full control with Camera help if needed. Love it. 5 |
