Sony Playstation Platinum Wireless Spec

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try the Sony inzone H7 wireless gaming headset for PlayStation. At first I thought they were kinda big and bulky but after trying them on they fit and feel great. They don’t fall off my head so that’s a plus. The sound is amazing. I have kids and it downs out thr sound of them playing and doesn’t disturb my gaming. They are white and black which compliments the PlayStation perfectly. My kids tend to fight over this headset they all want a pair. I like that it’s wireless, no cords getting in the way to trip over. This headset would make a perfect gift for any gaming person in your life.

I use these and spec them out for my clients that need no-nonsense wireless recording. Love the lapel mics -- even got a pair in white for moments when the black ones stand out too much. Purchased the charging case -- well-built and perfect for the mics. Pair this with a Lightning adapter and you have the very best wireless iPhone solution you can find. Only thing I would like (and Rode might already have it) is a splitter so I can send the two channels directly into two XLR inputs on my high-end cameras. Highly recommended. I'm going to purchase the DJI wireless mics to compare, but I'm really happy with how these sound and perform under constant use.

Works to spec.

I connect these headphones into a Sony Playstation Vita and listen to songs using the Sony Music Unlimited application. This gives me adequate emphasis of bass to help me determine the notes which are sometimes difficult to hear and decipher. When wanting to play along to the music simultaneously using either guitar or bass, I simply plug MDR-7506 through the headphone port on subwoofer/amp combo or DI box. The Playstation Vita is then connected to auxillary port using appropriate auxillary cable. I then have the option of muting the output to the internal speaker depending on whether or not I want my neighbors to hear. MDR-7506 also come with a pouch to carry headphones and cable in. The earpads are soft which make extended listening appropriate. Though, I am fearful these pads may breakdown or tear at a faster rate or higher percentage. This is ok since the earpads themselves can be replaced without buying a complete new product. Another concern is the thin wire connection run independently to the left and right speakers. They could become caught within the sliding adjustment piece that is used to accomodate different head sizes. No worry just something to be aware and cautious of in advance. Overall, the sound is excellent with great clarity and bass. The price was just right for my budget. I wanted to splurge and spend more on this component of my system. However, after testing several other higher priced models, I simply could not justify passing up the quality this unit provided. Legitimacy confirmed!

This works perfectly with my Sony FX6 camera. Although it's not listed as a compatible model in the spec sheet, I assumed it would work since it's likely wired similarly to the Sony FX3.

Typical SmallRig construction and spec. Mounting my Sony A7S3 on top. IMHO this is the best bank for the buck out there in a compact video head.
