I opted for the key download and when I entered the key code via the Photoshop Help Manage my Account menu it worked fine, and auto-propagated to Lightroom, etc. without any problems. The download key keeps me in control of renewal; Adobe does not have my CC info so NO auto-renewal. 5 |

June 24, using win11: my prepaid-year had lapsed while I was moving to a new computer. I tried working within the CC Desktop but they very much wanted to get me to subscribe -- and give them my cc #. Uh, no. -So I decided to get an activation code from B&H first and start from that end. The email came from Adobe and had the link to apply the activation code, at which point the CC desktop gave me access to my photo plan and I could reinstall. -Bonus: they started the clock on my activation date, not the date several weeks earlier when things had lapsed. I don't recall it having worked that way before, so good job Adobe. 5 |
