I use this with a Sony NX100 and it's really solid. It's big and somehow heavy but very good to use for serious jobs.

I connect these headphones into a Sony Playstation Vita and listen to songs using the Sony Music Unlimited application. This gives me adequate emphasis of bass to help me determine the notes which are sometimes difficult to hear and decipher. When wanting to play along to the music simultaneously using either guitar or bass, I simply plug MDR-7506 through the headphone port on subwoofer/amp combo or DI box. The Playstation Vita is then connected to auxillary port using appropriate auxillary cable. I then have the option of muting the output to the internal speaker depending on whether or not I want my neighbors to hear. MDR-7506 also come with a pouch to carry headphones and cable in. The earpads are soft which make extended listening appropriate. Though, I am fearful these pads may breakdown or tear at a faster rate or higher percentage. This is ok since the earpads themselves can be replaced without buying a complete new product. Another concern is the thin wire connection run independently to the left and right speakers. They could become caught within the sliding adjustment piece that is used to accomodate different head sizes. No worry just something to be aware and cautious of in advance. Overall, the sound is excellent with great clarity and bass. The price was just right for my budget. I wanted to splurge and spend more on this component of my system. However, after testing several other higher priced models, I simply could not justify passing up the quality this unit provided. Legitimacy confirmed!

Got this for my new Sony EX1 on the B&H sales rep's recommendation. I was a bit taken aback by its size but soon learned that it's just big enough and not one cubic inch too big. It has five layers of foam, two outside for side protection and three thick layers of diced foam (I hope whoever invented that made a fortune). With a little ingenuity and three dimensional thinking I've packed the camera and all kinds of necessities from filters to cables to sxs cards, to a portable hard drive to power supply and charger, LCD field monitor/prompter, warm cards and even headphones. Couldn't get the espresso machine to fit, but what are you going to do. With a little rubber cement I was able to reglue some of the diced pieces back in that i had cut down for a hole only half a thickness in depth. Granted I have to take the three diced layers of foam out in order to find everything, but a small price to pay for getting full use of the space. The case is built like a truck. Fully water tight and sure enough the little expansion valve is there so it doesn't blow up in the luggage compartment of the airplane because it can't compensate for the lower air pressure. Price was reasonable, quality appears excellent. And with the rollers and pull handle, I don't even have to carry it. I'm very happy with it.

The Sony rep told us that the ZA17x7.6 HD Lens would produce cleaner images than our XA series lens and he was right. It was well worth the extra $$ to buy this new lens for our XDHD cameras.

As a production professional, I'm not an audio tech, and so I dragged my feet on purchasing a Countryman lav for *years*. I didn't want to deal with it, so I just figured I wouldn't invest. But a wireless Sony kit sat around unused in my garage for about a year, and after that I had a few travel jobs that called for me to up the ante on audio, so I went for it. This mic is a SCREAMIN' deal. It's far better than even the onboard Sony lavaliere, and a far smaller profile. Don't want a dumb lav sitting in the middle of your interview frame? No problem! The Countryman is easy to hide and sandwich in gaff tape, audio sounds clear with a crisp response and a variety of 'heads', and honestly it's a no-brainer. I feel dumb for waiting so long to buy this lavaliere because it is amplifying how I feel about my small crew jobs exponentially. DON'T SLEEP ON THIS MIC.
