Sony Playstation Vue Audio Syncing Issue

No more zoom recorder and syncing audio! And the quality of the preamps are really good!

I shoot with Sennheiser's, Sony A7III and an Atomos V. I am a solo shooter and needed a way to control highs when people get exited. 32 bit did it. The Mix 3 has a 3.5mm out with the ability to bring down the gain on the output. You don't need an attenuation cable. My level on the mix 3 is set to -24db. Sony camera is set to on notch from bottom. I get excellent level and sound quality. The levels can be adjusted with the mix 3. I then go to Atomos V via HDMI with a 6 frame delay. The quality of the audio is excellent. The pre amps on this unit are the real deal. I could use audio recorded to the Atomos without issue. There is a bit of a learning curve to this unit. NOT more than learning the Sony menu system. Zoom F6= I originally bought this unit but had a hum with the audio out (to camera). I didn't want to deal with an attenuation cable so the Mix 3 was my only option. This is my first Sound Devices unit. I have always had Zoom products starting from the Zoon H4. I will never go back. Well, the Pre Mix 3 is made so well that I think it will last me for many years. Power: Don't deal with the AA batteries. I use a Rav Power usb C power block. I hang it with a case next to the Pre Mix 3. Power has never been an issue. This unit needs a lot of power. Phantom Power: Yes, the Pre Mix 3 has it and without issue. I powered an Electro Voice RE20 dynamic cardioid microphone with this little unit. NO issues! I highly recommend this recorder. If you are on the fence, like I was. I can say that I am very happy every time I get to my computer and can bring down any yells or screams and still retain all integrity of signal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was having an issue with the playstation 4 and this was the perfect solution. We purchased one of the cheaper PlayStations that do not have as much internal storage. This proved to be a mistake since almost all games these days are digital downloads. This was the ultimate fix we are able to put our entire collection on the unit and still have tons of available space for future games. I am very happy with this product and would highly recommend it.

Great product. Firstly bought only to have an audio reference for syncing, but i've been surprised by the quality.

If you’re not going to need or want to shell out the money for a digital slate this is a great product for you. I do my own audio syncing in post productions and this helps tremendously. It’s cheap but not so cheap that it’s flimsy plastic. The clap arm is heavy and gives a great snap for syncing. The dry erase goes on and off easily and the slate is big enough to accommodate bigger text which helps with file organization a lot.

I love the Zoom H6. I primarily use the attachable mics to record audio during concerts for syncing with video later. The audio quality is great. It even records a backup track at -12 decibels below the level you've set, which has helped me out a couple times! Because it also has 4 XLR inputs, it can also be used as a field mixer. It's easy to use and setup, and the kit comes with everything you need to get started. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to use, write-on and wipe-off. Gives a very professional look. Nice color bars for color correction ease. Used it for the first time last week as I had issues syncing audio in post with multiple cameras and audio sources. Loud clap allows for easier syncing. Good carrying case - be sure to get a few markers and dry erase eraser. Sturdy and lightweight, highly recommended.

I'd been recording all my audio with a 3rd party separate audio recorder and syncing the sound up in the edit room. This adapter sounds amazing and is saving me time on every job. Great investment.

My Sony Bravia is the best, and my PlayStation. The best gaming system with best television how can you go wrong.

Worked great! I couldn't even find it on Amazon. I used it on a Playstation PS4. I got a "Audio Decoder 5.1 Channel AC3 DTS Decoder" to convert from the digital optical from PS4 to separate Center, Front and Rear outputs. I used this device to put the center 1-channel onto both Left and Right 2-channel.
