It’s very easy to use and works well with the Bluetooth connectivity on my phone. The speaker is modern styled and small enough to display.

The sounds the comes out is crisp and clear and loud just like I like it! The speaker itself is quite hefty, but is extremely durable, and made from high quality materials! We have used this at several parties, and even at a play we were helping with to allow sound to flow through the venue. Highly recommend, incredible product!

I love that it is Bluetooth compatible and I can control it from my phone. I cannot believe how much power comes from this speaker. It sounds clear and clean. I also like the design. It is very sleek. I have listened to it for hours and have yet to charge it. It really holds a long charge! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a project manager working both from the home and at the office, I needed a blue tooth speaker that was both compact and portable. But, I also needed it to be compact enough to fit into a messenger bag pocket without crowding my electronic devices. The Clip 5 not only suits that purpose but also as shown in this image takes up absolutely no space on my desk in my home office by securely clipping onto the desk lamp. At the office it clips conveniently onto an adjustable monitor arm, inconspicuously serving as the computer speaker that really isn’t. The build quality is outstanding for being a Bluetooth speaker unabashedly minimalist in its aesthetics. The iconic carabiner appendage ie the “clip” that is practically synonymous with the JBL Clip series befits the rugged overall feel and functionality of the Clip 5. Especially given its IP67 water and dust resistance along with its beefy control buttons, it would be perfectly sufficient attached to my camelbak on deep hikes as it would attached to my work stand in the garage. After giving it a few hours to break in the sound took me by surprise with its distinctly spacious presence that left me wondering if the conventional multi-speaker desktop audio arrangement is now rendered antiquated. And while its simplicity would seem almost one-dimensional, this turned out be strictly as a result of many of its appealing features of versatility and flexibility being available through the JBL portable device app. Through the app I was able to dial in the EQ and power consumption settings for my listening and usage preferences. Speaking of connectivity the Bluetooth 5.3 synchs up with all my devices effortlessly and without difficulties maintaining the connection. With the USB-C charging port and 12 hours of battery life to which I can personally attest, this has been a productivity-enhancing sweet spot combination of listening enjoyment and portability.

Here is what I love about this speaker. The packaging on this product is second to none. It is enclosed in a soft like bag and surrounded by the most durable egg carton cardboard I have ever seen. I wouldn't worry about this item ever being damaged in shipping. Straight out of the box, I loved the unique throwback design. An overall black design, trimmed in antique gold, will match any area in your home. And when you go portable, people will wonder where you got this retro looking item. I immediately downloaded the JBL One app to my phone, and had no problem connecting it to the Bluetooth on my phone, or even to the Wifi in my home. And within minutes, I was using the speaker in place of my Amazon Alexa. I cranked it up so loud, my wife complained, but she was surprised by the sound from 3 rooms away. And the app, lets me dial in the song and sound I like. From country to pop and classical to jazz, every note is clear and the bass is thumping. One drawback is the heft of this item. It is a beast, and toting it for a long periods of time will wear you out. Also, the handle is not that comfortable. It is squared off and not very well padded. Regardless of just those two drawbacks, this speaker is built like an American made car from the 1950s, made to last and to be treasured for years to come. Ideally, I think this speaker is meant for home use. It's gonna replace any other portable wireless speaker you own. Mine is set in the bedroom, plugged in, and always on.

I love my new Bose portable speaker. The sound quality is great! It’s has brought so much joy into our home.

This works great for my home. I look forward to expanding it more. I wish there was a portable battery powered Bluetooth version of this speaker too
