Sony Radio Boombox

After I purchased the Sony XG500, I returned it due to the sound and looked at a Boombox 2 at the store, They didn't have any available so I went searching for the Boombox 3, I am so glad I did. I'm really pleased, not only with the bass (the Sony had good bass too) but the highs and mids were equally impressive and didn't get drowned out by the incredible bass of this unit. It gets quite loud but luckily doesn't lose much quality at the higher volume levels. I wish they got the app better, it needs a battery percentage rather than a bar and the graphic eq doesn't really do much. Overall, I like the design, it feels super sturdy, looks great and performs even better. Yes, it's pricey comparative to others on the market, but I'm still happy.

I use this to connect my mac mini to a sony boombox on the other side of the room. I needed a longer cable to keep it away from my wire-chewing cat. The fidelity is very good although there is some line noise. (Audible if you turn up the volume on the boombox & there is no output from the computer.) It doesn't interfere with watching TV on hulu so I don't really care. The jacks made good thermal connections without needing to be joggled and the line is encased in a very flexible synthetic housing, making it very easy to install and use.

I bought the Boombox 3 and it has been amazing. The sound is impeccable.

This was a free add-on to the Boombox. It's a little tight but works and seems well made and really makes it more versatile to use.

I get the grid for free when I purchased the BoomBox. It work like a charm.
