This camera is great. The unlimited recording time is great and is a great B-cam for my Sony Fx3

Very impressive camera. I have Sony A7S II and after I got A7S III it's a big difference for me as a videographer. First unlimited recording time, it was recording 4K footage as long as battery was working. So I love this camera.

Firstly - the picture is excellent. I have never owned a BM camera before but the hype is deserved. You can read specs and stats all day, and it has less range than some other cameras. BUT in terms of getting an excellent skintone and good highlight roll-off, this is up there with Canon and Arri. It's not how many stops the camera can hold, it's how things fall into place making PICTURES - and this seems to keep all the bits in the right places. I own a lot of Sony gear and use a lot of Sony gear and love it - but Sony doesn't make it easy to get good skin/rolloff, this does. And this does it very affordably. Excellent B-Cam for Alexa - the BMPCC4K Film-Video V4 LUT is a great starting point match to K1S1 (Alexa). Other Positives - Timecode input! FINALLY! XLR Audio Input w/ Phantom, great menus, super flexible recording media options (the Samsung T5 drives work beautifully), 4K Prores. I pair this camera with a speed booster .71x to roughly equal super35 and keep focal lengths consistent. That's a huge reason this camera is great vs. the newer 6k - full-chip recording in 4k. My clients are barely doing 4k and hate RAW - so being able to do 4K Prores without windowing is a killer feature. Negatives - bad port placement makes it difficult to rig the camera. No SDI. Bad battery life (but lots of options for the power itself, and cheap cables available). Screen impossible to see outdoors and doesn't tilt. That's really the only huge issue. I'm not a DSLR person so I'm sure these are issues with most DSLR.

Purchased this monitor to attach to a Sony FDR ax53 video camera. I chose this one because the charger and battery was included. The monitor connects using the hdmi that came with the camera, but it'll work with an hdmi to micro hdmi cable. Right out of the box, the battery was charged at 50%, and I was able to use it right away. One thing to note, the sony camera wont allow the display on the monitor to show image during recording if it's set to 4k. Once you change the video setting to 1080, the image will be displayed during recording. Also, tested this monitor on the zoom Q8N, and it works just fine.

Bought this V60 Sony SD card for slot one in my Sony A7iii mirrorless camera. I was recording some video and was concerned about slow write times causing jitter. Not only is it a speed burner both writing and reading, but it also fits physically in and out of the slot smoother than my Sandisk SD cards. Not sure why that might be, but it's definitely a nicer fit. It was a good buy............. Bob R.

I'm amazed at this camera. coming from Sony alpha because I wanted a camera for better video and this one had it all with Ibis and unlimited recording. the pictures are also amazing! overall very pleased!! Picked up the 25mm f1.7 lumix lens. I can tell this is the start of my micro four thirds obsession!!!

I do mostly video recording. I had to replace an old Sony a-65 that is still doing the job but that is only recording in HD. I needed 4k. Before buying it, I did a lot of research on the internet and found this camera to be a very good compromise. I also looked at the G9. I got it for something around $700 at the end of the year and I believe that was an incredible price. This camera came with a very good 12-60 mm lens. It delivers very sharp pictures and video. The autofocus works well, even though I prefer using the manual focus. In my opinion, the only glitch which can be a serious one for professionals is the short battery life. Far too short for such a high quality camera. I strongly advise a second and even a third battery.

I use the Rode VideoMicro with a Sony A6600. Sound is great once I reduce recording level on camera to about six. The wind shield works great. Portable and no need to worry about batteries, powered by camera.

This little gem works nicely attached to my RX100 VII Sony camera via a bracket. It's recording ability is excellent.
