Sony Repair Center

When my 16-70 f/4 Sony lens needed repair it was actually a wake up call. All the reviews are true. The lens is small and light and easy to handhold! Even wide open the center is tack sharp and the corners good! Stopped down to f/5.6 the entire image is sharp. Distortion at both ends is visible but correctable in camera for jpegs or in raw via Lightroom lens profiles. Focus is quick and accurate and the bokeh is nice and smooth. The Sigma colors are warm and realistic. This lens is perfect for general photography, landscape, portraits, event and travel. This lens complements my 10-18 f/4 Sony; 60 f/2.8 Sigma; and 70-200 f/4 Sony. Great job Sigma!! 5 |

I replaced a Canon 500mm L lens that Canon refused to repair (stating out of service period). This not only works as well (IMO) with my Canon bodies, but paired with the MC-11 EF to Sony adapter - is absolutely excellent. The shots from my Sony A7 III paired with the combo actually exceed what either of my Canon bodies can produce. Very happy with this lens. 5 |

Have owned numerous AV receivers over the years. The str-an1000 may not be the best one, but if you have a recent Sony Bravia OLED TV with center channel capability, it's great. The combination gives you a great surround sound setup without a bulky center speaker that can be difficult to place. 5 |

I use this with my Sony 600mm f4, and a Mono-Gimbal. Works great, gets the center of gravity lower and no plate needed. Plus it's less than a RRS. 5 |

Never having used a true macro prior to this, I am extremely happy. I rented the Sony 90mm also when I was deciding on which lens to buy and found that the Sigma was sharper from 2.8 all the way from the center to the corners. The Sony 90mm performs excellently in the center, but is weak towards the edges. CA is basically non existent on the Sigma and the Sony only suffers moderately. The Sony has an edge with I/S as the Sigma can only utilize IBIS. Using a tripod is a good idea with any macro shots anyhow. Overall, I find the sigma has a more pleasing image and I prefer the rendering of colors with the sigma. 5 |

Works with even my Sony a1 and 200-600. it keeps everything secure on my center console. Also makes a great right arm rest! I filled mine with sunflower hearts (seeds). The sticky rubber on the bottom of the pad really helps keep it from moving. Works well over the window as a lens rest. I definitely did NOT need the larger size. 5 |
