Sony Rm V310 Universal Remote Control Manual

Sony RM 30BP is a tool that allows one person to control many cameras. Many of Sony's camera work perfect with the remote, some will have full control of the camera. The ability to change setting in camera with this controller is a must when your in a rush. Using in a multiple camera setup with one remote is not ideal. Multiple camera and multiple remotes is ideal. The downside is cost and Sony needs to address the issue of the remotes being slightly defective. When zooming out slowly, sometime the remote will continue to zoom out unless assisted to stop. Bad for such a high priced remote control. Plus it would of been great if the buttons were backlit, making changes a dark room is really challenging. I have 2 remotes looking to add 2 more, but have had bad luck with finding good ones, without the defect as described above. All the ones bought from B&H have been good. Other sellers not so. B&H the greatest..

My Zhiyun Crane 2 was not fully functional without a remote controller. The Sony RM-VPR1 was the perfect solution, except... It had no ready maid adapter to attach it to the Crane. The attached photos show my very simple and inexpensive solution. Works beautifully.

The Sony RM-VPR1 Remote Commander with Multi-Terminal Cable is a game-changer for real estate photographers and videographers alike. Its seamless integration with Sony cameras transforms the shooting experience, offering precise control and enhanced functionality. For real estate shoots, where capturing the perfect shot is paramount, this remote commander proves invaluable. Its tethered design allows for precise adjustments without disturbing the camera setup, ensuring every angle is captured flawlessly. Whether snapping photos or recording video, the RM-VPR1 delivers consistent performance, making it a trusted companion for professionals in the field. However, as impressive as its tethered capabilities are, the longing for a wireless option remains. While the multi-terminal cable provides reliability, the freedom of movement afforded by a wireless remote would elevate the shooting experience even further, especially in dynamic environments. In summary, the Sony RM-VPR1 Remote Commander with Multi-Terminal Cable is a versatile tool that enhances both photography and videography workflows, particularly in real estate settings. Its tethered functionality offers precise control and stability, contributing to the creation of stunning visuals. Yet, the desire for a wireless alternative persists, with hopes that Sony will heed the call for increased mobility in future iterations.

I purchased the RM-VPR1 remote for my older A300 that I have been using more for Macro photography recently. Previously, I had been using the 2 second timer to minimize excess vibration on the body but needed something better. This trigger was just the right component. First impression of the RM-VPR1 was good as well as boxed well inside the Sony packaging. The actual remote is nice quality and matched well to my camera. Connections were easy with a solid terminal plug and the user guide is basic with the traditional Sony format. Overall, this is exactly what I was after and would recommend the RM-VPR1 for anyone who wants a simple shutter release remote. For my A300, the shutter release is the only function which is the function I was wanting. For others who want all the features of the RM-VPR1 using it with an A300 is probably not the best match. I haven't had the trigger much but while using the shutter release I have noticed more of my photos have been in focus more often and with repeatable results. I feel the results are due to using the RM-VPR1 exclusively which minimizes the extra camera vibrations. The overall service from B&H was outstanding. Having my purchase shipped the next day and delivered a couple days ahead of schedule gave me the opportunity to use it before I needed it for a project.

I bought this cable along with the Sony VMC-AVM1 A/V R adapter cable to use my Sony RM-1BP wired remote with my AX100 4K camcorder. The older remote works fine and is much better than the newer Sony RM-VPR1 wired remote.

This is a low cost alternative to the Sony RM-VPR1 wired remote and it works fine on the A6300. However, it is only for the shutter release. The Sony RM-VPR1 has the capability of triggering video and even turning on and off the camera. The cord for the RS-S2II is kind of short, only about a meter in length. In some circumstances it may not be long enough.

This electronic remote control is a must have for everyone. 100% better than a manual shutter release. Just point it at the camera and press. It's so small and light the only possible down side is it could get lost in your bag but the included case helps prevent that. A must have for every tripod shot.

I bought this remote control for my Canon M50 Mark II. To my surprise, Canon doesn't have a manual for the Canon M50 Mark II, even though they changed some options in the menu. All the videos you can find on YouTube are for the original model of M50. It took me a while to figure it out to make it work with my camera. It seems like the generic option is as good as this more expensive (branded) remote control.
