use mostly for movies, TV shows & playstation games, great surround sound. Music listening is also superb easy to setup the Sonos app of the newer version is not as refined as previous version. only stream in normal mode for Tidal Dolby Atmos tracks app can't add Apple Music service other than that, everything is great!

Got this about 6 weeks ago and turned an old non-smart tv into a smart tv with every app I could ever need, great product!

Use it with an early Sony bravio smart tv. TV does not support atmos but the streaming music channels give sounds I never knew were being broadcast. Can't wait to purchase a new atmos capable tv and add a base unit.

This Roku turned my Plasma TV into a smart TV. Now I even have more online and app choices than some of my smart TVs. It’s absolutely worth it.

If you're in the Apple Ecosystem, there is no other Smart device for your tv. There is only one major annoyance, and that would be the YouTube app. I feel the problem could be solved by allowing Apple's Match Content/Frame Rate settings to be applied individually per app. I feel that YouTube won't care enough about their users on Apple TV to figure out how to fix the problem with constant blackouts because of Auto Switching HDR/SDR and/or Frame Rate. Aside from this, navigation of apps on the Apple TV is far better in my opinion than most other Smart devices out there.

Build in Roku would freeze on You Tube TV app. I figured this as another method to keep the smart TV and load the You Tube TV app

This is a great entry level tv. If you own a Samsung phone, there is no other choice. Samsung smart things app let's you sync and control this TV flawlessly.

I have a Sony alpha 7 series camera. In theory, it's possible to connect it to a smart phone using a built-in app, but in my experience, Sony's app is somewhere between cumbersome and impossible to set up. The Vello sets up very quickly -- plug it to into your camera's micro-USB, set the USB on the camera per the Vello instructions, go to Settings on your phone, and sign into the Vello's wifi signal. Apart from setting your camera's USB port, you don't have to screw around with the camera's menu at all, and the Vello gives you a full range of controls. The new CamRange2 will work with Sony and many others, but it's much more expensive. I don't think this unit is as robust as CamRangers, and it took a long time to charge the li-ion battery the first time, but it does what it promises. There are Vello apps that let you use Apple & Android smart phones/tablets and both Windows and Mac. (I use a Mac, and it's a 64-bit app, so it's compatible with OS Catalina.)

This matches up perfectly with my Sony Bravia Ultra HD smart TV. It is so easy to use. Once you identify the input source, you only need to use the correct button on the remote to get BR/DVD, Cable/Sat, TV channels. It's frontal surround sound function works great with my fabulous Cerwin Vega speakers. This is so much easier to use than my previous receiver.

Have had Sony televisions for years. Always been happy. Wanted a new smart tv for the bedroom so bought this. Perfect size. Wish the power cord was longer. Have it sitting on a high dresser and have to have surge protector sitting behind it.
