These headphones as a drummer and audio engineer are PRICELESS! The clear and balanced sound in both ears are unmatched. I also love all the accessories that came along with it!

So far I have only used these headphones for an electronic drum kit. I'm no sound engineer but I am pretty picky about sound. To my ears, the sound seems pretty flat, clear and natural. My favorite thing about them is the comfort. After hours of use I forget I have them on. As far as sound isolation they only minimally block ambient sounds. So if you're looking for major isolation they aren't for you. But they do seal well around my ears so with sound running through them it would take a lot to distract you. The cord is plenty long and the 1/8 to 1/4 adapter screws on which is nice. I don't have much to compare them to, but I am very happy with my purchase.

I've been a producer/engineer for many years and have used my fair share of headphones expensive and otherwise. These are quite a pleasant surprise! Full tight sound, not over-hyped in the low end, actually rather flat in response but full in sound. Smooth highs and clean, present mids. Excellent soundstage and very comfortable, very good for mixing. Build quality is good, some plastic parts - especially in the hinges - might not last long but the jury's out on that one. They perform like phones costing much more. B&H as always the best service and delivery. Highly recommended!

I am not a sound engineer but found these headphones to have good sound. I've never noted any coloring to the sound quality of the material I'm recording. They're comfortable, lightweight, have a very long cord, good quality and a very nice price.

I'm no sound engineer. I do work with sound for Podcasting and video editing. As such, I do wear headphones for hours at a time. I feel that the sound is accurate and flat. The cushions are very comfortable to wear for a long time. I also love that parts are easily replaceable which I've had to do (with all my other headphones over the years).

The sound really came alive using these cans. Sony knows headphones.

My sound engineer always uses this one and it's an industry standard.

Don't be caught without one, weather a sound or a/v engineer always keep one on hand.

Compared to my previously well rated Sony headphones these are the bomb! Sound is much more calibrated to how things sound in home stereos and car radios! A well priced option for head phone mixing applications and anyone looking for accurate and great sound phones! The ear pads could be a tad softer?
