I have been using Sony wireless systems for many years and always thought the included mic was okay, but not great. Finally decided to try this out and I am so glad I did. The sound quality and frequency response is in a different league altogether. We frequently use booms for our interviews because of the enhanced sound quality and for aesthetic reasons. Not any more. This mic is 1/3 the size of the OEM Sony and I love the vampire clip. It makes the mic very stealth-like. Run, don't walk — and up your wireless game.

I use Sennheiser, Sony and even the Rode wireless systems. It's not those. But, it does work & sound pretty decent, as long as you're near the subject. It always feels better have a backup in the camera cases when they go out in the field, and this fills the bill without breaking the budget. Also, the case & accessories make it a very good deal.

Compared to my previously well rated Sony headphones these are the bomb! Sound is much more calibrated to how things sound in home stereos and car radios! A well priced option for head phone mixing applications and anyone looking for accurate and great sound phones! The ear pads could be a tad softer?
