Had a chance to switch from the sony a5000, that was a good camera, this is a great camera. The burst speed is incredible and I was able to compete with cameras that are 3-5 times the price while shooting sports and paired with a nice lens. Love this camera. 5 |

Had to buy this to relocate my handgrip on my Sony FS7 because I have the Zacuto baseplate and it doesn't allow you to have the hangrip in the original place on the camera. This works nice with the Shape extension arm I purchased and allows you to set the camera flat on a table or ground. 5 |

I have a Sony Alpha 580 and this wireless remote works great. Had a slight learning curve at first-operator error-something wasn't making contact properly. Once I took things apart and reconnected, it worked fine. I did notice that with the camera set to remote, it is on all the time and the battery goes down quickly. This is probably more a camera issue than a remote one. You can use the remote without setting the camera to remote but you lose precious moments while the camera wakes up and focuses. 5 |
