Sony Tv Headphones Jack

The RS 175 is extremely easy to use and sounds great. I hooked it up with my analog TV headphone out jack, and you can play the headphones by themselves, or at the same time as the optical digital TV out plays through the audio video amplifier into my corded speakers. That way if noisy people enter our living room I can just slip on the headphones and not have to ask them to be quiet or to leave, and I don't have to jack up the sound coming out of the speakers. Also, you just turn them on and they are automatically connected, you don't have to take any additional steps or try to debug any issues. The audio quality is very good and the headset is comfortable. 5 |

Use the cable to attach headphones to tv sound system. Needed the long cable to reach my recliner and so that I can watch movies without waking up the house. Only problem is my sound system has a phone jack and my headphones have a 2.5MM connection. Have to put the cable halfway into the phone jack adapter and all the way into the headphone cable to make it work correctly. 5 |

The Sony Bravia TV has an A/V input with a three-ring mini 3.5 mm headphone jack. This enables you to hook up a VCR or other legacy audio-video device directly to your new TV. The previous adaptor I got from Amazon is a piece of junk. The audio would go out on one side, or there would be a loud hum, unless you fiddled with the adaptor end. This one has the solid right-angle jack, which works perfectly with zero fuss. I was thankful I could find a good adaptor here on B&H. It is getting harder and harder to support our legacy equipment. Thank you B&H ! 5 |

I ordered this amplifier to amplify my Sony LCD TV that had no headphone jack. Using the low level audio out RCA jacks the Pyle PTA2 works wonderfully to allow me to use just headphones. Being hearing impaired it certainly saved the day. It is always nice to buy from B&H Photo.......Haven't found any cons with the amplifier so far. 5 |

I use headphones at night when I sleep also when I watch TV , so I don't bother my neighbors. At night my are hooked to my Sony receiver and two 5 disc cd player. The fit flat on ears, allows me sleep on my side without discomfort. Great sounds !!!! 5 |

My headphone jack was broken on my admittedly old laptop. This enabled me to still use headphones for a small cost, and not replace the whole computer. I can also confirm that it works via a USB hub. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everyone knows the problem with having one jack on the iPhone -- can't listen to wired headphones and charge the phone at the same time. There is a nice solution to that problem in the form of a simple splitter that allows charging and listening. Works really well, although you cannot use it to split into two headphones. Simple and elegant, just what is needed. 5 |

I shoot video on a Canon 5D mark IV which does not have a very powerful preamp for the headphone jack. I was using a 25 year old pair of Sony headphones and could barely hear anything with the headphone volume cranked all the way up. I bought these after using a pair that belonged to a colleague. They do a great job of boosting the weak signal coming out of the camera. I also use them while editing video, plugged directly into the headphone jack of my iMac. I notice too with the iMac that I can keep the system volume much lower than I did with other headphones. I am not an audio professional, but these sound great to me and are what I would expect in this price range. My ears probably couldn't discern between these and a pair costing three or four hundred dollars. They are very comfortable. Another big selling point for me was the three different interchangeable cables that are included. The coiled phone cord type cable is great for location shooting, allowing you freedom to move around the camera without fear of tripping over or snagging a long cord. The other two cables give you options for studio use depending on how close you can sit to your equipment. It's also good knowing that a cable can be replaced if it is ever damaged. 5 |

I am 20yo and an aspiring sound producer. I listen to a vast amount of music and just about everything I can find to play on these headphones. From usage in my studio projects to simple leisurely activities (games, music) these headphones are very strong assets. There is excellent outside noise rejection and cancellation once you start playing something. You'd have to wave your hands or cause a tremor in the room to let me know you're trying to get my attention. These headphones are powerful and comfortable, and I love to use them for absolutely everything I am able to use headphones to listen to. It even came with a handy PreSonus draw-sack, although the drawstrings quickly broke within a month or less of day-to-day usage. The only drawbacks for me were: (1.) the result of an accident that occurred where the headphones were plugged into a laptop and the laptop got knocked over onto the side of the audio jack, bending into and ruining my laptop's audio jack input, as well as the headphone's jack. The fall was less than two feet off the ground yet the impact was large enough to cause such damage. (2.) The cord is way too long for my style of usage when not in my studio. I find myself having to coil the string up in my pocket whenever I'm mobile. However, that's clearly not the type of usage it was intended for when it was made. Personal mishaps and usage habits aside, these headphones are awesome, and are an excellent buy for the asking price. 5 |
