Sony Tv Remote Not Pairing

I have used these speakers daily for over a week. Setup and pairing was very simple. Following the printed directions exactly, including (and especially) when to place batteries in the remotes, everything was complete in 15 minutes. The sound quality is a major improvement over the TV speakers. The mids are strong and rich for a much improved TV experience. For music appreciation, these speakers are just okay. The highs lack crispness and definition on cymbals, and the bass lacks depth and punch. The new Roku Touch remote is getting a lot of use, which I did not anticipate. The total package (2 powered wireless speakers, 1 voice remote, 1 touch remote) was a bargain at the pre-order price. I would buy these again. Lastly, Roku, if you’re scanning these reviews, please offer a subwoofer in 2019.

I use this as a remote trigger for an R5 on a monopod (the monopod is used to get the R5 above a crowd of people. Pairing with the R5 was easy. I did try pairing the R5 with an Android phone, but it was sometimes problematic (one phone paired easily and one wouldn't pair at all). This remote is smaller than a phone and is more convenient.

Easy to set up, works well with Sony tv and shares some remote functions.

Delta Pro remote works well from a distance. Easy BT pairing.

Great upgrade to only use one remote. Pairing is easy, & the voice command is helpful.

The tv replaced a tv that was left by the previous owners and it just died after almost 2 years....So this Sony's picture is beautiful, crisp and clear and the colors are amazing! The remote that comes with, is so tiny my fingers can hardly operate it. And the only reason I would need to is when a box pops up that says there is a software update available. But like I said, the tv is Perfect. And I will say I LOVE all my Sony products...It is my go to brand when shopping...Keep up the good job (except make that remote larger so human hands can operate it and it really could use lit up keys, too)

Bought it to use with the Canon R5. Bluetooth pairing is very straightforward, this remote control does its job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted something like this but didn't want to have to deal with cords and the setup/configuration. I was really excited to give Sony version a shot even though I don't have a Sony TV. My TV is a Vizio and was still very easy to set up and now use. My configuration is a Vizio TV with a Google TV Chromecast. The Google TV remote now powers both the TV and is able to simply turn on the soundbar (this was important so as make it as easy as possible for my wife and daughter to use). I've also got the wireless subwoofer tucked away off to the side so it's also out of the way. The sound is great and I really like the night mode on the Sony remote that helps for late-night watching when everyone else is asleep. We've still not found the perfect bass setting, but I would expect to make adjustments based on the movies we are watching.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first Sony TV and we were upgrading from 55 inch Sharp TV that we got 14 years back to Sony 65 inch TV XR-65X90L. The TV came very well packaged with clear instructions on how to setup the TV. We have our TV on the included stand and height increased so that we can put our soundbar in underneath the opening. Although we got the 65 inch TV, it does not seem that big in our room and fits perfectly. Very easy to setup and the included remote does all the functions perfectly. The remote is not too fancy but has all the required functions to control the TV. Remote does not have back light but it does not bother us much. Picture quality is fantastic. However, while watching some old content, it becomes little blurry. The TV sound is much better quality than most TV's. However we use a Sonos setup and have it hooked up via digital output. A point to note - if you are having issues controlling your sound system volume with TV remote, turn off Bluetooth on TV and try again. For our Sonos setup, I have to keep Bluetooth off for the remote to be able to control Sonos volume. If you do this, you cannot use Voice commands since voice commands require Bluetooth to be on. Google TV interface is very intuitive and guides you through complete setup. It brings all your content in one place. Very happy with this TV so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never purchased a Sony tv before this. I am amazed at the visual difference it has over other brands. It has such a clear crisp screen that looks amazing in the dark as well as daylight. One of the small things I really like that I haven’t had before is the lighted remote. When watching tv in the dark I can clearly see what buttons I need to push without guessing. The quick app features on the bottom of the remote make it easy to switch an app quickly and effortlessly. After all the different tv’s I have had the Sony brand by far the best and super easy to set up. Looks beautiful mounted on the wall! It’s a very heavy tv but it just shows the quality and details put into it.
