Sony Ubp X800 Playstation Vue

The Sony UBP-X800 HDR UHD Wi-Fi Blu-ray Disc Player is by far the best product Ive purchased to date.  The unit runs quietly and accepts virtually all media (CD, DVD, Blu-ray) including USB flashcard content (AVI, MPG to name a few).

I bought a Sony 55" 4K UHD TV a couple years ago, paired it with a Samsung K8500 4K Blu-ray player. The definition provided by 4K is amazing on the Sony TV but wasted with the Samsung. Lately when watching a Blu-ray disk the screen would go blank for a second or two. Suspecting the Samsung player I started researching other player options. I settled on the UBP-X700 because with poor hearing I wouldn't appreciate the enhanced audio features of the UBP-X800. The UBP-X700 HDR player really made the colors pop out on my Sony TV. I am soooo thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend this player to the more expensive UBP-X800 (which is outstanding).

It’s amazing, all features works great. Plus excellent price from B&H, definitely they have the best prices on the market. I did my homework for about 2 weeks all over the internet and finally I got to the conclusion that Sony UBP-700 HDR BLU-RAY DISC PLAYER WAS THE ONE. You can expect nothing but the best out of it. I really recommend it. The HDR and Dolby Vision works perfect , you can see the difference between the normal resolution and Sony UBP-700 . We love it.

I replaced Sony UBP-X800M2 4K UHD Blu-Ray Disc Player because the regular DVDs were not sharp. blu ray and 4K were perfect. Also 1 in 30 movies would just lock up the player requiring a power reset. NOW 4K and regular blu rays are great. Also regualr DVDs are great. Sometimes it fils my 4k tv and sometimes the are black boxed on 4 sides. They always look much better then the sony. Happy Happy

This Sony UBP-X700M HDR 4K UHD Network Blu-ray Disc Player is small but powerful. I have played several disks and haven't had any problems. I am using it with my smart Sony Bravia TV and the video is superb. I bought it for its HD, 4k and blue ray capabilities. It can also be used with your wifi system and via USB connectivity. If your computer is on the same network that also works so enjoy. I am enthusiastic about this modern technology. It also play your old stuff!

I connect these headphones into a Sony Playstation Vita and listen to songs using the Sony Music Unlimited application. This gives me adequate emphasis of bass to help me determine the notes which are sometimes difficult to hear and decipher. When wanting to play along to the music simultaneously using either guitar or bass, I simply plug MDR-7506 through the headphone port on subwoofer/amp combo or DI box. The Playstation Vita is then connected to auxillary port using appropriate auxillary cable. I then have the option of muting the output to the internal speaker depending on whether or not I want my neighbors to hear. MDR-7506 also come with a pouch to carry headphones and cable in. The earpads are soft which make extended listening appropriate. Though, I am fearful these pads may breakdown or tear at a faster rate or higher percentage. This is ok since the earpads themselves can be replaced without buying a complete new product. Another concern is the thin wire connection run independently to the left and right speakers. They could become caught within the sliding adjustment piece that is used to accomodate different head sizes. No worry just something to be aware and cautious of in advance. Overall, the sound is excellent with great clarity and bass. The price was just right for my budget. I wanted to splurge and spend more on this component of my system. However, after testing several other higher priced models, I simply could not justify passing up the quality this unit provided. Legitimacy confirmed!
