I use this product in voice over work and love the crystal clear reproduction. A bit bulky, but worth it. As a caveat, DO NOT try using this with a Sony Vaio laptop as you are unable to listen to the audio that has been recorded on the laptop using the Yeti headphone jack. Nor can you monitor what is being recorded from the Yeti while using the Vaio headphone jack, the Sony laptop is totally worthless for field recording and editing.

I replaced an OEM HDD on a Windows 8 HP G7-2246nr laptop with this SSD using Macronium Reflect Free. Noticed improved speed right away. Old HDD was hot to touch when removed. Glad it's gone. Here is what I did. 1) Created system image of entire old HDD to additional external USB HDD using Windows 8 File Recovery tool just in case. 2) Purchased USB 3 to SATA cable. 3) Installed Reflect and viewed support page that explains how to use Reflect. IMPORTANT 4) Cloned all partitions of old HDD in the same order that they are listed under source disk (0) in Reflect. Since is was downsizing from 512 GB old HDD to 240 GB SDD, I paused after dragging C: into destination disk to resize it down to 197 GB and set the drive letter from Auto to C. 5) Added all subsequent partitions including D for recovery (25 GB). Finished Clone keeping all partitions at original size except for C drive. 5) Shut down laptop and swapped out the hard drives and rebooted. Windows 8 recognized the SSD and there was no need to go into EUFI.

I had to replace my wife's VAIO laptop with a Lenovo from B&H and needed a wireless mouse to go with it. The Logitech was a perfect choice. Absolutely no problems...works perfectly. Thanks so much B&H

I bought two of these for two different older Win10 computers with spinning hard drives that were degrading, making the computers very slow. First was my wife's nearly 9 year old laptop. First attempt at cloning drive failed because the computer shut itself off during the process. Be sure to go into power settings and disable automatic shutdown or sleep mode. Once I did that the cloning succeeded. Second PC was a desktop with a 250GB spinning drive. The SSD is 1 TB. Using the cloning wizard, it wanted to create a 217 GB Windows partition (same size as it was on the spinning drive) and it wanted to blow up the recovery partition to well over 700 GB. Well, that's stupid! It should have kept the recovery partition the same size and increased the Windows partition as much as possible. So I halted the cloning and restarted it in manual mode, which allows changing the partition sizes. In manual mode the cloning software made the correct suggestion: it kept the recovery partition and two small mysterious partitions the same sizes that they were on the hard drive, and it increased the Windows partition to 871 GB. So I accepted those sizes and did the cloning. Why couldn't the wizard have figured that out? Bottom line - pay attention during the cloning process to make sure the wizard isn't doing something dumb. Both computers are now running much faster than before. My wife is delighted with her new laptop. She says it is now super-fast. B&H sale price was great with free two day delivery.

I purchased two of these for my Sony VAIO 13 laptops with bottom sheet batteries and they very nice with just a little extra room. I've traveled all around the world with these, even to Iraq and Afghanistan, and they've held up really well. In fact, they look practically new and have protected my laptops from dust, splashes of water and minor impacts. I would definitely buy them again! Not having any exterior pockets is actually a bonus for my needs, so five stars it is!

I use this on my Sony VAIO PC, running on Windows 7 Ultimate. (VPCA151A11L), which has Intel Sandybridges i7-3612QM, 12GB of DDR3 RAM (1333mHz), a 480GB SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD, and Nvidia Geforce GT 640M LE graphics (2GB GDDR4). One of my two USB 3.0 ports is kinda faulty, so I needed this to make better use of my 1 remaining port as this computer has been used rigorously since 2012. I don't have USB 3.1, but this will still function for USB 3.0 connections. = What I like about this hub is that it's simple and straight to the point. You plug it in and there's a push button to turn it on and off. I've tested the speed of 2 things, transferring files (copy/move) on a portable USB 3.0 HDD and a USB 3.0 SDHC/CF card reader, directly to the port and through the hub to the same port. It is consistent, at least in my experiences. What I don't like about it Absolutely nothing. It's giving me the freedom to use more devices than before and expand my usage of USB 3.0.
