Sony Video Camera See Through Clothes

Through the multitude of options coming from Sony, this camera perfectly replaces my A6400 (great camera btw). I wanted an all FE system since I already had FE lenses. It is a A6400 with an A7iii sensor. Couldn't ask for better!

I use it for video. See big difference once installed. Reduces a lot of light from coming in camera. Without it I have to go max f stop and it’s still to bright.

Works with the Sony FS7 without connecting the wire! Through the regular battery connection, that is. It is a major breakthrough since previous models relied on the external DC connection, and the supplied cable eventually broke. Half the price of the Sony and lasts me 4 hrs operation, while powering a 6inch external monitor through its very handy P-tap. And it sticks out of the FS7 just the right amount to be able to use the p-tap outlet.

Through my years in photography, I somehow ended up with three monopods. With my new and ever increasing interest in DSLR video, I've been looking for a three-legged base to attach to any one of my monopods. Two of them, Manfrotto and Miller, have fixed tip and I was not able to remove them to attach anything to them. But lucky for me, my Really Right Stuff monopod has a removable tip which this base screws right into it, via the 3/8-16 threaded screw, making it suitable for video production. Saved me the cost of buying a new monopod, as the Miller rep. was hoping for. I also have the Benro S4 Fluid head which I use with my monopod. I like the setup, although I wish the base was lighter than it is. The folding up of the legs is really clever and a joy to work with.
