After having purchased several headsets that purported to be 'waterproof headsets for swimming' the Shokz actually delivers. Transferring music from an iOS device could not have been easier and after a full charge I was swimming and listening to tunes! Now, remember the environment (underwater) is not conducive to producing the type of sound quality you're accustomed too above the waves. The music sounds like you're back in the college dorm and your neighbor has their stereo turned up; a little muted. But, still there. Overly 'bass' tunes sound a little muddy. But, overall I'm thrilled. Great headset!

Excellent headphones for swimming or running, especially if you don't want to carry on your phone with you

Just got these yesterday for Father's Day and soon after opening them already had tons of songs loaded (as simple as plugging into your computer, it showing up as a drive and copying the files over), read the instructions in about 30 seconds and was in the water swimming within minutes. I am blown away by the comfort and sound quality of these headphones in the water (and out). This is my first experience with this type of headphones and wow it is game changing for me as I do not like things in my ears. The ability to comfortably listen to music while swimming (and doing all kinds of other things like mowing the lawn, doing yardwork, walking the dogs, biking, exercising, etc.) and still be able to be fully aware of your surroundings is really a game changer for me. Of course this set does not support bluetooth as it's made to be in the water (which I actually prefer as I don't need to carry my phone with me to have a bluetooth connection), but definitely going to get another set for times when I do want to have bluetooth connectivity. These are incredibly comfortable, stay put through all kinds of movements in the pool and work very well with goggles, sunglasses, etc.. Cannot recommend them enough.

These are the best, swimming headphones, I’ve owned! They work fantastically. One quibble: the bass is a little heavy for me. I hope future models give us a wide range of EQ settings.

I have tried in ear water proofed headphones while swimming with my conclusion being there was no way to listen while doing laps. Well the openswim set that I have changed all that, they are fantastic. With the openswim on, ear plugs in and head submerged it gives you a feeling on music being in your head. Not sure how openrun would feel as it takes all three of the above to give the immersed feeling.

The SHOKZ OpenSwim Open-Ear MP3 Player Swimming Headphones are superb. The bone conduction works incredibly under water. And the fidelity is seamless, clear, and precise. Love these for workouts and swimming laps. Shokz is a great company.

The NW-WS413 is an improvement over the prior model NWZ-W273. All buttons are easier to press and give more tactile response. The docking contacts on the headphones are raised so they make a better connection to the docking station, which was sometimes a problem with the prior model. It also seems that the maximum volume is a bit louder, which helps me better hear podcasts while swimming. There are a couple of additional functions that I don't use, but otherwise not much of a change. It would be nice to have more memory (at a reasonable price) and the ability to fast forward or rewind within a song or podcast. Overall though, I find these to be the best waterproof swimming headphones currently available.

I have been looking for a pair of headphones to use while swimming. My search started years ago when the technology wasn't quite up to the mark. Finally someone has created a product that really works, sounds great, doesn't die when immersed, and does everything promised. I've been using this product for months and it's wonderful. It added a fun new dynamic to my swimming routine.
