Good compact MP3 player

My current Sony 8 GB NW-E394 mp3 player replaced my former Sony 8 GB NW-E393 mp3 player that lasted me for several years until I accidentally partially immersed it in water while exercising in a hotel pool & trying to keep my mp3 player protected in a Ziplock bag. I can't tell you how many times, over the years, I dropped my old Sony E393 mp3 player that thankfully still worked even after being dropped. My Sony E393 mp3 player even worked after getting a little bit wet from rain. I've found this series of Sony mp3 players to be quite durable & even able to get a little bit wet without completely breaking. Sound quality is the most important feature for me in any mp3 player I purchase. Over the decades, I've tried other brands of mp3 players that had horrible sound quality vs. the amazing sound quality in this series of Sony mp3 players. If I'm ever in need of a replacement mp3 player, I will definitely again purchase this same Sony brand of mp3 player I currently own and love.

Sony, a brand name you can trust. Wanted something that was solid. Previous MP3 player (not a name brand from China) had issues. It would be on random play and after 30 min of songs, it would "reset and play the same songs again. Very weird. So looked around for MP3 player and found this Sony Walkman MP3 player. Flawless to use. No random play function. Don't download Sony music program. Old program takes lots of space and slow. Easier to move files (drop and drag or copy paste ) from having a window with your music and a window open from the MP3 player). No Bluetooth for wireless headphones. Connect a corded over the ear headphones, you are good to go. Great sound coming out of the player.

Great lightweight MP3 music player

This is a great MP3 player and very user friendly! I bought this for my 12 year old. He is fairly tech savvy for his age and was able to load songs which are direct drop (no third party software program needed) Player has a nice small screen to see song title and good battery life with USB recharge cord included. Headphones that come with it are pretty good too. Player has a clip on back to clip to clothing so you don't need an extra case.

This mp3 player does what it is supposed to do. It was smaller than I thought it would be, but that was not a negative, but more a positive.
