Sony Wireless Headphones Wf 1000Xm3

I really like these earbuds. I previously owned the WF-1000XM3 and they were too large. These have substantially better noise cancelling and the sound quality is almost as good (with some EQ tweaks). If you're considering these earbuds, the Sony headphones connect app is basically required to get them set up how you want. After getting everything settled (I like the transparency mode set to 14,) you can remove the app. The EQ presets and everything is saved to the earbuds, not the device; this means all your tweaks will work on computers and other phones without the app! 5 |

It's rare seeing a pair of headphones that genuinely shine in almost every regard. But with the WH-1000XM3, Sony has created an indisputable winner, a categorically top-notch set of cans whose only shortcoming is the absence of 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, something we hardly ever see outside of the gaming market. They do have Bluetooth, though, so as long as you have a smart TV, an Nvidia Shield, a gaming laptop, or a Bluetooth-capable motherboard, you should be set for the reclusive world of active noise canceling. Unlike other noise-canceling headphones, the WH-1000XM3 use an unusually silent QN1 HD noise-canceling processor. In our testing, we found it was able to keep out most sounds, even on the crowded New York City subway. The battery does take a hit for this, but you can take solace in the fact that the WH-1000XM3 last 30 hours fully charged. After 10 minutes of being plugged in via USB-C, Sony claims they can deliver pristine high fidelity sound over five hours. And, to top it all off, volume and playback commands are touch-based. Goodbye forever, inline controls. Image 1 of 6 5 |

I just purchased the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones and found them to be excellent in many ways. Very comfortable, Pairs easily with my TV, iPhone, DAP and laptop. The sound quality is very good. 5 |

Bought this to go with my Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones, since they only come with a very short cable. Works great; feels sturdy and quality. 5 |

My frame of reference is the Sony WH-1000XM4 (my wife's) and WH-1000XM3 (which I sold after getting these). The main plus is over the other two the great detailed sound. I have four headphones, earbuds for the gym (Sony WF-1000XM4, I hate over ear headphones when working out), gaming headphones for my computer, very expensive headphones for TV and music at night when my wife is asleep, and these for when I am traveling when noise cancellation is important. I listen to podcasts when I am a passenger in a car (frequently) and watch movies when traveling in a plane and hanging out. I can understand dialogue much better with these headphones over the Sony's. Though noise cancellation isn't quite as good as the Sony WH's (though superior to the WF-1000XM4), it is still very impressive and the superior clarity of the Momentums more than makes up for that. My main complaint is that I cannot get the Sennheiser app to work with these headphones. Though I do not need to turn up the treble to help clarify speech (I do with the Sony's when listing to podcasts and movies), it could be desirable. I think where it could help is with some rock songs. The Sony WH's sound better on some songs due to their fuller sound. I think I could compensate for that on some songs with the equalizer by turning up the bass. Having said that some songs still sound better on the Momentums. 5 |

I purchased these Headphones yesterday. After listening to several top of the line headphones the WH-1000XM3 came in at number one for me. They are the best sounding headphones that I have ever listened to and owned! The features are top of the line! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones are fantastic. The ease in which they sync up to your phone and the listening pleasure I received. I couldn’t believe how all background noise is nonexistent. I tried it around my grandchildren and it worked like a charm. I heard nothing but the music coming from my headphones. And that was it. I’ve been looking for headphones like this for so long. 5 |

I tested 4 other noise cancelling headphones and returned them all finally settling on the WH-1000XM3 for a the following reasons: 1. Very Long Battery Life 2. Setup app allowed me to fine tune the sound to my taste 3. Noise cancelling is top rate 4. Sound is good but not as good as my audiophile wired headphones, and I wouldn't expect them to be. 5. I wear them at work and when I travel. 6. Good semi-hard case for travel Great Price! Other's I tested were. Bang & Olufsen H9i Sennheiser Momentum 3 Bose 700 Focal Listen 5 |

I’ve read countless reviews between this and the Bose QC35 II and made visits to stores to test both devices. I’ve thought long and hard but in the end I decided to go with the Sony WH-1000XM3 because the sound quality is just so much better than the competition. It having a UBS C port also helped swing my decision to choose Sony over Bose. The fact that I’ve always trusted Sony also helped in my decision. I love how this product just makes the world melt away. With the Sony WH-1000XM3, it’s really just me and my music. And that’s worth any price. 5 |

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing Sony WH-1000XM3. I agree that it's the best WNC headset ever... 5 |
