Sony Wireless Stereo Speakers

I am soooooo pleased with the Roku Wireless Speakers. I had a Sony 5 speaker surround sound system before and I replaced it with the wireless speakers. I am blown away! They sound so clean and crisp and they are WAY LOUDER than the Sony system. Setting them up is a breeze. It took less than 5 minutes. Also, the build quality is top notch! The speakers weigh over 4 pounds each! Weight is a good thing when it comes to speakers. I haven't always been a fan of Roku but over the last couple years they have really stepped up their game with the Roku smart TV's and now these speakers. I am in love with these! I bought Sony SRS-NS7 as a replacement for my Bose SoundWear, which has Bluetooth connectivity problems. I am a fan of neckband speakers and found they are great for meetings in work-from-home settings. Albeit much heavier and thicker, SRS-NS7 is equally comfortable to Bose SoundWear. I miss the fabric cover on Bose SoundWear as they could easily blend into my wears. The sound and stereo image of SRS-NS7 is surprisingly good for listening to music. Bass is weird at first, as its bass speaker fire down to the shoulder, sometimes feel a bit itchy. But overall, it is excellent. Battery is a bit on the low side. My Bose could stay on for about a week without turning off. But Sony probably could only do it for a day or two. Both speakers don't have good indications on whether they are on or off, so it is easy to forget to turn them off. Also, it cannot be used while USB-C cable is connected. Although SRS-NS7 can connect to 2 devices simultaneously, I often use it on more than 2 devices. I miss the button on Bose SoundWear which I can quickly switch between devices. The voice narration by SRS-NS7 is kind of slow/comprehensive. Not able to switch them to beeps. And it does not announce the name of the device either. It will only say 2 devices connected, without knowing which twos. I didn't try out the dongle yet as it can only connect to S/PDIF sources. Overall, because of better sound, I like Sony SRS-NS7 more than Bose SoundWear. I really love the sound of these speaker and the stereo image it created (without 3D audio enabled). It makes me want to play more music with them.

This set-up is very impressive. I have owned Sony soundbars before this, and this system is clearly in a league of its own among soundbars. The speakers are so clean and clear, in those aspects they match my stereo Sony speakers which are much bigger. Obviously my stereo speakers have a much fuller and deeper sound along with much more powerful bass. I have used this system watching a movie, watching sports and listening to youtube concert and song clips. It shines the best with movies but does dam good with the music clips. With sports you hear background sounds one does not hear with just the TV speakers, but sports are not as impressive as movies or music. I played CDs with this system thru my blueray player and the sound was incredible. Unlike my stereo system which is more horizontal in sound, you can tell the HT-A9 bounces the sound of the ceiling that the stereo system can not match. I have to confess that I bought the sub-woofer with the system, in my opinion it is a necessity especially for music and movies. The set-up is flawless, no drop off of sound at all so far, but all of my speakers have a clear sightline with the control box. Easy to set up, love having no wires from control box to speakers. The sub woofer does not need line of sight to control box. As yet I am undecided whether I like the system used with the TV center speaker more than the set-up on its own. I have The Sony A80K 65 in. as my TV with the set-up. All in all, I love this system and have no regrets buying it even if it is expensive. I did buy the system and sub woofer on sale, saving 400 in all. The gray color does not look bad at all. Best overall TV system I have ever owned, I will always buy a Sony TV and have owned Sonys all my life and I am 71.

I decided to go across the board and get a new stereo system. Got a Sony STR-DH190 receiver, 2 Sony SSCS5 speakers, 2 SSCS3 floor standing speakers, and a Audio Technica AT-LP120XUSB turn table. Wow, great quality sound and definition from FM, Phono, and audio input from TV. A lot of quality that will not break the bank. Instrument solos come thru bright and crisp. Bass well defined without being overpowering. Really brings out the quality that underlies old 70's LP's. Just a great setup. I link in my Apple Laptop and iPhone via Bluetooth to the Sony receiver. Though I have a preference for analog LP's, the digital via bluetooth is fantastic also. Highly recommend. A solid investment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sony WI-C100 Wireless Stereo Headset is made for iPhone or iPod. I love that it has several different sizes of earbud tips to fit my ears. I use mine to listen to my music and I also use it in my car for hands-free calls. I like the feature with the little cord that connects the earbuds to the unit itself where I feel like I won't ever lose it because it hangs around my neck. When charged it last up to 25 hours.

this item provided the sound I was looking for to supplement my stereo speakers.

Unit has Blue Tooth but will not sync with my old Sony wireless speakers from my Sony DAV-HDX576WF unit. Please advise how to do this or do I just toss those speakers, etc?
