I recently noticed my Sony MDR ZX-100's which have served me quite well over the years, were starting show signs of wear on the ear cups. That's when I decided it was time for new headphones. Shopping B&H online,I spotted the Sony MDR-ZX110 Headphones. Boy,did I ever make the right choice! They are as comfortable as the old ones & the sound is crisp & clear with a warm, rich bass response you might expect from higher priced models. These are great headphones for the money. I certainly recommend them. 5 |

I purchased 3 sets for all my Sony headphones in my studio. The fit and feel is far better than the original. No black plastic coating to flake off. And better isolation for better sound quality. These will add years to our headphones. 5 |

The ear cups of my old Senal SMH -Series headphones were cracking and flaking, so I had to wipe the flecks of the old phones off my face after I used them. I got the deluxe velour ear pads and in a couple of minutes I replaced the old cushions. And by the way, Auray has a video that shows you the right way to do it. They're comfortable and don't get hot. Easy to install. Make sure your headphones have 1/6/40 mm drivers. Larger than that, and I don't think they'll fit. If you're using Sony Sony MDR-7506 in the studio and your talent is complaining that they're not comfortable after an hour or two, swap out the ear pads with these and the complaints will stop. A great buy for $14. 5 |

You have no idea how long and how much money I have spent trying to find a solid and heavy 1/4" TRS Headphone adapter like the ones that come with the Sony MDR series headphones but without the threaded input. THIS IS the one. It's heavy and made of solid material unlike most everything being sold online. The fit is firm and tight. No play whatsoever. The quality is in a class above the rest. This easily replaces the stock ones that come with the Sony MDR series headphones. I highly recommend this for people that demand quality. You won't be disappointed. 5 |

35 year Sony MDR series Studio Pro man. These phones provide nothing less than excellence I have come to expect & require from my music tools. A little tinkering with the DAC profiles to eliminate as much digital delay as possible + be able to use smartphone Bluetooth control when corded? Will also make them and outstanding pro DJ tool. Not only for their outstanding sound, but to protect DJ's hearing. Raised shapes for side touch control would also make them easier to use. Hint hint Sony engineers... Keep up the great work! 5 |

Ive used the standard Sony studio monitoring headphones for video production purposes, and while they sound fine, they just dont last very long...ear cup material comes apart or just comes off. The Sennheiser HD 280s are buil to stand up to the riggors of location production applications while providing great isolated sound for monitoring purposes. My only compliant/wish would be for them to switch to a non-coiled headphone cable...gets stretched out if someone decides to wrap it around the earpieces or if it gets shoved into a bag. 5 |

When black specs of disintegrated foam fell off my Sony headphones I purchased in 1992 for $110, I didn't want to throw them away, partly from irrational reminiscences of the doc shoots they helped monitor sound on. Luckily, I stumbled on these $ replacements. Very comfortable, and well worth the extra $5 for the deluxe model. These will probably disintegrate eventually, too, but I figured I just bought myself another 10 years with my beloved headphones. 5 |

The earpad covers on my Sony headphones were starting to peel apart, leaving little black specs all over my sound guy. These fixed that perfectly. They fit great, are easy to instal on look and work like the originals. Much cheaper than replacing the entire headphones. 5 |

My previous Sony headphones were studio headphones and I was unsure how much of an upgrade these new ones would be. I use them for playing my keyboard workstation. I read the reviews and decided to make the purchase not really knowing how much of an upgrade they would be. I was shocked when I heard the presence of the keyboard in these headphones. When I hit a bass note it sounded so different and deeper. I kept playing and playing and all of my songs sounded new again. For $90 what a crazy upgrade! You have to hear it to believe it. 5 |

I had been using a pair of Sony MDR-V6 studio headphones for years and years and always thought them fine. A friend convinced me to try these Sennheiser HD 600 and they are astonishinly better than my old trusty Sonys in every way - the clarity and sense of space in stereo recordings is amazing. 5 |
