Sound Barriers For Air Conditioners

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. The high pass filter for perfect for filtering those consistent background hums. Of course, a little fancy editing too. Arrived right in the delivery window, customer service from B&H is great as always.

I’ve had my power go out multiple times in a span of a week and I had enough time to save everything I needed to. The size also helps as my small apartment is already pretty cramped.

I like this a lot because I can wrap the legs around different barriers, but it also causes me to have a few more decisions in what I use when out in the field. I have a Platypod and the belt so I could use that. This fits in the side of my bag and the Platypod fits in my bag. The decision would be a lot easier if this had a nice handle that stuck out so that when you do a pano you could easily move it to take the picture for the pano. I will figure something out in the meantime.

Works perfectly. You can remove all of the inside barriers and reshape them to fit your needs. Room for camera body and 4 lenses.

Had to find a way to shoot beach volleyball, when behind the barriers. Normally I just sit on the sand. The lower angle the better picture opportunities are. So, I need to get just over the barrier, not too high, and the 18 height of this stool was perfect. Not to mention at 220 pounds, I felt a little more trusting of this chair that can handle 400lbs!

Absolute game changer. One of those rare cameras for professionals that comes along and tries to do everything and more -- and does it really well. used this for a big event and despite all of the barriers such as walls and cell phones, I never lost connection. Warning, your miles may vary. Keep in mind of it's maximum capabilities and you should be fine.

I have had a number of Furman power conditioners in the past 30 years. The pl has always been my favorite. I have had some cheaper power conditioners also and they are not conditioners whatsoever. All they are.. are exaggerated power strips.. and when you pick them up you will see the weigh less than a pound.. because most of the electronics are missing in the chassis. Not so with the Furman units. Furman units are very heavy because they have actual electronics in them like filters and other things that are going to be making sure the power is conditioned correctly. They shut down upon overload and the filter make sure there is no buzz or hum in the line. You cannot go wrong with a PL plus and B&H has the lowest price in the country!!
