Sound Level Meter App

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who has never had a “high-end” pair of headphones these are absolutely incredible. The sound is perfect – deep, rich and with great range. They also offer 360 Reality Audio (with accompanying subscription or trial to compatible streaming service), which is mind blowing. It’s a totally immersive surround sound experience for your headphones. The noise-cancellation feature works well – low level background noise (air conditioner, keyboard clicks, etc) are totally removed while louder noise are substantially muted. Comfort while wearing is good but my ears do feel a bit squeezed after wearing for more a couple hours – hoping that goes away with more frequent usage. The Bluetooth connection is easy to setup, stable and allows up to 2 devices to connect to the headphones at the same time. Most settings are managed through the app - I'd prefer to skip another app install but it’s light and well organized. There are also some interesting software features that I wasn’t expecting like ambient noise control, which changes the level of ambient sound that’s blocked based on location or activity (think, more cancellation in a seated environment vs more ambient noise for awareness while walking on the street). Speak-to-chat is another handy feature that turns off the noise cancelling when you start to talk. The touchpad on the ear is also a convenient way to control volume, tracks, play/pause and answer calls. Overall, I’m very impressed with these headphones and would highly recommend.

This light meter is quite enjoyable to use. It easily flips between reflective and ambient light, and it's got a nice dial that easily moves to your desired ASA setting and to the light level detected by the meter. It also only turns on when you click the button to make it detect the light level, so you won't forget to turn it off and drain the battery. I bought this because I'm using a film camera with a broken light meter, but have discovered the additional benefit of the ambient setting has been quite educational. I'm an amateur, so I can't say whether it's got the perfection of the more expensive ones, but I have liked it for the first two weeks I've owned it.

I use Elinchrom lights and SkyPort Plus - HS. Metering the lights with this radio trigger is a real benefit. The unit allows one to change the power level on individual lights from the meter as one would from the SkyPort Plus. If you change power levels from the meter then make sure to hit refresh on the SkyPort before making any further changes to power level on the SkyPort. One note of warning, if you intend to use the meter in conjunction with an ELB400 Hi-Sync unit, please see my review of the Sekonic L-858. There are issues.

Bought the Motu M2 almost a year ago and have absolutely zero complaints. I thought the built in level meter would be somewhat of a gimick but i've found it to be extremely helpful! I use it to connect a pair of studio monitors but just recently bought a Klipsch home theater subwoofer and the RCA outputs were a savior. Hands down, best audio interface for the money!

Upon getting this light meter I was using an app on my phone for film photography and when I received this it has made things soooo much easier and way more convenient! 10/10 recommend this light meter if you are on a budget!

Great light meter that’s small and comes with a case. The app is straight forward to use to pairs with the light meter well. Relatively affordable compare to other brands.

Thought this would be gimmicky, but it works really really good. If you leave the app and come back it connects right away. The meter levels are very close to being in sync. Nice to mount the ipad so others can see. Easy ability to change mic names and take's with a keyboard (bluetooth to ipad)

This little speaker has a level of sound that’s unmatched.
