Sound Mixer For Blackmagic Production Camera

.. I just get it from B&H and shoot some test with my Blackmagic Production Camera 4K, and I like the result !!!

This will come in very handy.. I'm a production sound mixer and cameramen are always asking for a sheet of white paper to white balance their camera... Whala, I whip out my small quick balance and I become the hero.

I'm a production sound mixer and insist on using only Comtek for various crew to monitor my mix on the set. The transmitter and all receivers are built like a tank and the signal is always 100%. I plan on picking up a few more of these soon.

I use this mixer for location/eng sound for video production. The mixer is built solid and has all the functions needed for location sound. I like the VU meters and the limiters work well.For the low price...well worth it.

I'm a professional Sound Mixer/Recordist for films and TV production. I have several much more expensive mics I use regularly, but I was impressed with the MKE 600--especially for the price. I use this as one of my backup mics, but I also use it with a shock mount on my DSLR for personal use. The mic is small and light enough to easily fit on a DSLR and provides excellent, deep, rich tones. You can't beat this mic if you are using it with a DSLR. Compare it to any mic made for DSLRs out there, and this blows them all away. It's a litle more pricey then the entry level low end DSLR mics out there, but it is worth every penny.

I've used several cases over the years and the AO-4 by Porta Brace is the best yet. I am a production sound mixer and like the fact that it's extremely rugged and has a very good customizing system. Being able to remove the top cover all together, is a real plus. I do wish Porta Brace would give up trying to get us to use the front case as the place to put our wireless receivers; the fact is, it just isn't practical and as far as I know, no one uses it as such.

It's nice to make that leap from shooting on a DSLR to working with the Blackmagic Production 4K camera. It makes the transition even easier when I'm able to use all the batteries I've accumulated over the years. Also, being able to plug in sound with XLR inputs is a HUGE bonus.
