I am a professional film maker/sound man and I needed a reliable stand to hold my boom pole with shotgun mic for interviews. This stand is perfect. The legs separate from the shaft for easy transport, the grip heads are smooth with a captive handle. I choose black to differentiate my gear from grip department. Just be aware that the grip heads are an inch smaller than the standards on a grip truck, otherwise zero issues. For interior work or exteriors with level ground, you cannot go wrong with this Avenger stand.

I first used these cans in 1993 and have owned many others since then. Having been using Bose for several years, you learn that each maker has a trademark sound. Upon wearing the Sonys once again, I was reminded of how much other brands color the sound, and at first the Sonys seem harsh by comparison, but it's actually just the pure, unvarnished sound without too much of this or that - crucial for mixing and mastering. There are times when I don't want to be sealed off from the rest of the world, yet these provide just enough noise abatement. On top of that, they are very comfortable. I can't believe how inexpensive they are. I love them!

I am an amature film maker and went looking for a good mic for the price. This was a win. Great sound, lightweight, and not too expensive.

I’m convinced that Sonos is the maker of these speaker…lol. Probably not, but, these sound absolutely exceptional. I have Sonos inside, these where for outside covered sitting area. I was “WOWED” when they powered up. I highly recommend them.
