I bought this item cause on my laptop the sound board wasn't working and I got my Mac used. To fix the sound board would have costed me, from 250-450 to fix it. So I went to B&H and i was told to buy this stero sound adapter it works fine. I am so glad that the sales people at B&H could solve my problem and save me money all at the same time. This laptop arrived very quickly and I've been extremely satisfied with the purchase so far. It got me back and working very quickly. Sound and image quality are excellent. It's lightweight but sturdy. I also appreciate that the design has a bar hinge for the monitor, which is sturdier than the 2 hinges that are common on 2-in-1 laptops (those regularly break).
