Great quality headphones. Excellent and clear sounds. Nearly sound proof. No feedback. Lightweight and multipurpose. 5 |

The other reviews were spot on. This thing is bomb proof, easy to use, and has become my go to tripod 5 |

These are the best headphones I have ever tried. The sound quality is unbelievable. I have read all the reviews on this headphone and thought, this is too good to be true, well, they are. You can not go wrong, especially if you buy them from B&H Photo, because of price, excellent customer service and availability of products. 5 |

I have only owned these headphones for a short time but I absolutely LOVE them. I"m already addicted to them. .lol. To me the music sounds even better than being at a concert. It's all there the bass guitar and drums sound awesome. I love to hear the symbols to and the highs sound just as good as the bass. To talk to someone all you have to do is speak and the music will kick off and you can hear plain as day and when your finished talking they kick right back on. I looked for about two months off and on, reading reviews all over the net and kept coming back to these and I finally pulled the trigger and bought them. I'm very happy I got these and not something else. I'm not into writing reviews but I looked for so long before I made up my mind that I hope this helps someone that is doing the same. 5 |

I had seen a couple of headphone reviews about this new model from Rode, each one raving over the build quality and sound. The reviews were spot on and the quality of this product is stellar. Nothing, and I mean nothing, about these headphones feels cheap. When a product is thoughtfully designed, you are immediately aware. The ear cup foam and outer coverings feel so high end, not to mention comfortable. I've never had a closed back headphone isolate so well before. The shape of the earcups seals so well and blocks out almost all ambient sounds. This will come in extremely handy during my live recording sessions. I love the locking feature of the headband, which assures every time I put the phones on my head, the cups are in just the right place. A thick, supple cord, that can be installed on either ear cup is a nice touch. The sound is just right to my ears. Bass is solid but definitely not hyped or muddy. Mids and high frequencies are natural and detailed. These will be excellent recording/mixing headphones but I also enjoy them for just pure enjoyment sessions. When you receive a piece of gear and in the initial 5 minutes of using it your first thought is to buy another as a spare...well, I don't think you can get higher praise than that. These headphones feel and sound like they should be twice their price, at least. In fact, I would say at twice the price I would still buy them. Well done Rode!!! 5 |

I am a lifelong audiophile, but, due to a few life changes, find myself living a condo where I'm aware of how often my neighbots vacuum or do laundry. The big sound system was sold more than a year ago, but I still needed to scratch that itch of listening to fabulous music presented as pristinely as possible and at appropriate volumes. Headphones seemed the only way to go.Given current economics, I'm very value oriented. When the price of the HD600s, a pair of cans that have earned many glowing reviews, dropped below $300, I pulled the trigger. To extract audio from computer files and drive the headphones, I chose the E-MU 0404. I don't have any immediate need to do recording, but may in the future since I now have the capability.I am thoroughly pleased with these headphones. The adjective balanced is used in many other reviews of these 'phones, and it's very appropriate. There is no area of frequency response that seems exaggerated or lacking. Violins sound like violins. Kick drums sound like kick drums. Dynamics are rendered very well. A plucked guitar string has an almost visceral attack. I particularly enjoy orchestral crecendos with no compression and each instrument still having its own voice. These cans are also very light and comfortable, suitable for hours of continuous listening. The only comprimise I'm making over the big system is the visceral impact of low bass. Just no way to get that punch with headphones. One possible con for these 'phones is that they are an open design with no reduction of outside sounds. Your office mate should develop a teste in your music. 5 |

Believe the reviews you see on these headphones. Experts and consumers alike are all right about the excellence of these headphones. I research my purchases and buy carefully so I wasn't at all surprised that these exceeded my expectations. I work in an open office, which can be quite noisy at times. These headphones are excellent at wrapping you in a cocoon of silence, isolating you from the outside world. If you prefer some engagement with your environment, you can dial-in your preferred level of noise cancellation with the app. Noise cancellation aside, sound replication is superb. I find the clarity, range of sound, and amount of balancing to be great for music and conference calls. Conference calls take on a whole new dimension when you experience communication in the isolation of silence. People on the receiving end of my phone calls have expressed that my voice is crystal clear. The comfort is second to none. They aren't light, but you will likely forget they are on your head. The arch is padded well to dissipate pressure on top of your head and the ear cups are as soft as a pillow. I can use these for the better part of the work week without recharging. I have high hopes for these headphones. Kudos to Sony's engineers for building a truly exceptional product. I will be disappointed if these do not last 10 years. 5 |

These headphones sound amazing, especially in the mid and high frequency range. I don't know of any headphone under $100 that provides better reference sound. Lots or professionals use this headphone to mix recordings and DJ for events. For consumer use, they really bring out detail that goes unnoticed and unheard on regular (translation: affordable) speakers or headphones. It's delightful, for example, to hear all the little intricacies of Johnny Greenwood's guitarwork and distortion on Radiohead's Amnesiac. The bass isn't overpowering, so if you're looking for a pair of headphones that really accentuate the bass, you should keep looking. I read in another review that you can feel the bass before you hear it. I didn't know what that meant exactly until I tried these out. You can hear all the bass in the source, but it won't overpower and drown out the mids or highs. Other reviews mentioned problems with the construction being flimsy. The construction seems very sturdy in my regular use. Other reviews mentioned that straight out of the box, these headphones don't sound great, that you need to burn them in. I burned them in by playing my iTunes library for about 36 hours on medium volume and they sounded awesome. The cord is coiled in the middle and can stretch about 10 feet. You'll want to make sure that nothing rubs against the outside of the earcups or against the cord, if it's pulled taut to the headphones, because it causes loud distracting noise in the earcups. Overall, a great performing headphone for the money, highly recommended if none of the above bothers you. 5 |

I bought these headphones for work because they were cheap, low shipping (thanks B&H!) and had some decent reviews. Got them in the mail and I am very impressed. sound quality is great, and this sounds really nerdy but I am so impressed at how they fold flat without compromising the quality. I also really really appreciate the padded ear cups that are a nice balance between comfort, good sound quality and dont look like those ridiculous dj/ audiophile headphones. I've already recommended them to my friends and I'm about to buy a second pair to use at home. 5 |

These headphones sound awesome. If you're looking into these then you probably already know that from all the amazing reviews online. So I'll address other things: 1. They are authentic. I've ordered these before from other sites and then had to return them. My sister and I have originals from before so we can compare grooves and textures and cord length etc etc. B&H is selling the real deal. 2. Delivery, was fast. I live in Ontario and I think it took 6 business days to arrive. Again, these sound so good. Brass instruments sound amazing. Electronic music sounds awesome; both bass and highs and everything in between sounds crisp and vivid. 5 |
